General Hospital Recap: Lulu Plots to Flee with Rocco, Anna Gives Josslyn New Hope of Escaping
On the Thursday, May 21, episode of General Hospital, several characters realized that they are in some serious danger! Lulu (Alexa Havins) upped her timeline for leaving town with Rocco (Finn Carr) after an argument with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) helped Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) piece together a puzzle, Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) got an update on their quest to find Phoebe’s family (Luna and Lucia Creighton), Lucas (Van Hansis) and Pascal (Marc Forget) came to a reluctant agreement to save their hides, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) found something in the bedroom that Anna (Finola Hughes) left behind and more! Safety in Numbers
At her office, Britt assured Dante that she hadn’t told Cullum that Rocco was the shooter, adding that she hadn’t known about Rocco’s involvement until the teen confessed to her weeks after the fact/ Angry that Britt hadn’t immediately informed him about his son’s secret, Dante spat that Rocco wouldn’t have been involved in this mess at all if it weren’t for Britt.
Meanwhile, Alexis informed Danny that she didn’t believe his excuse about why he and Charlotte had been at Wyndemere. Although he didn’t give his grandmother the real reason, Danny acknowledged it was a dumb move and promised it wouldn’t happen again. Later, Britt stopped by to question Danny about what he saw at Wyndemere. Danny demanded to know why she’d lied about his dad shooting Cullum. Britt explained that she’d said what Jason told her to say, but he was taken away before she could get more info out of him.
Danny then revealed that he and Charlotte had seen Cullum give Britt a shot and knew that she was being forced to work on a project for him and Sidwell. He further explained how Cullum had caught him and Charlotte and was about to take them somewhere when Sidwell and Ava showed up, then Ava called Alexis to come get them. Danny realized that Cullum suspected he’d been the one to shoot him, but Britt began to fear that Cullum was closing in on Rocco. Vowing that she’d fix things, Britt urged Danny to steer clear of Cullum, Sidwell and Wyndemere. She apologized for having been the reason Jason was taken away, and they agreed that Jason would want them both to be safe.
The Runaways
Over at Lulu’s house, Ethan presented the fake passports he’d acquired for his sister to leave town with Rocco and offered to make her getaway arrangements, but Lulu replied that she had time to make her own. Ethan made himself scarce when Dante arrived, and the commissioner and his ex-wife got into a huge fight about how she’s been handling the situation with Rocco. When Dante noticed the packed bags she had prepared, Lulu stated matter-of-factly that she was getting ready in case she had to take Rocco on the run. Dante refused to allow her to make his son a fugitive and planned to assign officers to monitor her. Rocco overheard his parents arguing from outside the house, then slipped away, upset that he was the source of their disagreement.
Hey There, Delilah
Brook Lynn tried to hide her panic when Chase informed her that Curtis had been arrested for assaulting Isaiah because he was convinced that the doctor was the other driver who’d left the scene of the accident. Ethan then showed up under the guise of hoping to see Tracy. However, who he really wanted was to see Phoebe. He held the baby and asked Brook Lynn and Chase seemingly innocent questions about the little girl’s development.
Later, Alexis reported to Brook Lynn and Chase that Delilah’s tattoo is associated with the Japanese artist Kiyoko, whose work is handled at a gallery in Manhattan. Not wanting the Quartermaine name to attract the wrong kind of attention, Alexis offered to go to Manhattan to inquire about Delilah’s connection to the gallery, adding that she would have help (though she didn’t mention that help came in the form of Ava).
Our Little Secret
Lucas and Pascal got into another fight over Marco. The butler held Lucas responsible for Marco’s death, accusing him of manipulating Marco into stealing Britt’s medication and giving Cullum motive to kill Marco. Lucas pointed out that the only reason Cullum would have even known medication was missing was if Pascal had told him so. Confirming that he’d indeed told Sidwell about the missing vials, Pascal shouted that he thought Lucas had stolen them and wanted him dead.
Knowing that neither of them could tell Jenz that Cullum killed Marco without signing their own death warrant, Lucas suggested it was best if Sidwell never found out about their respective roles in Marco’s death. As Lucas moved to exit, Pascal wailed that he could feel Marco haunting the halls. Lucas lamented that it was guilt — and they should both feel it. Once alone, Pascal broke down in tears, while on the other side of the door, Lucas fought his own rising emotions.
Tools Of The Trade
Josslyn hit Cassius with a chair when he brought her breakfast and tried to escape, but he dragged her back into the room. She then confronted him about the message Anna had written on the wall. Cassius admitted that Sidwell and Cullum had held Anna captive in the room because she’d gotten too close to the project, but said he wasn’t aware of that fact until after Anna was gone. They also argued about why he hadn’t yet told Cullum that Josslyn was in the basement room, with Cassius maintaining to her that he was keeping her safe and alive by not revealing her identity as a WSB agent — but he could change his mind if Josslyn became more trouble than she was worth. After Cassius left, Josslyn discovered a supply of makeshift tools that Anna had stowed in the mattress and had a renewed sense of hope that she could escape.
Crisis Mode
Summoning “Nathan” to his office, Dante revealed that Lulu was making plans to leave town with Rocco. When the commissioner asked if “Nathan” was helping her, Cassius replied that he was not, but he would if Lulu asked him to. Meanwhile, Lulu met Ethan at the park and asked him to help her get out of town ASAP — and to go with them. Back at the empty house, Rocco found his fake passport packed inside one of the duffel bags. Just then, he received a call from Britt, who wanted to meet with him right away.
