General Hospital Recap: Jude Jacks Claims Phoebe as His Daughter!
On General Hospital’s Thursday, October 29, episode, Jude (Wil Traval) revealed that he was a Jacks and claimed to be Phoebe’s father, turning Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) world was turned upside down, while sparks flew between Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Anna (Finola Hughes) made a breakthrough in her therapy with Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) help, Carly (Laura Wright) stumbled upon new information about the night Jack (Chris McKenna) went missing, and more. Here’s the rundown.
Daddy’s Home
Brook Lynn, Jason and Tracy reeled when Britt’s mystery man introduced himself as Josslyn’s cousin, Jude Jacks — Jerry Jacks’ son — and declared that he was Phoebe’s birth father.

Jude explained that he’d been searching for Delilah Wilson for months and finally tracked her down to Port Charles only to learn that she’d died. Since he hadn’t signed away his rights, the adoption wasn’t legal. Jude left after telling Brook Lynn he’d be in touch.
Tracy promised Brook Lynn that everything would be okay. Brook Lynn rushed upstairs to the nursery, where she vowed to Phoebe that nobody would take her away.
Jason warned Tracy that Jude would be a problem if he was actually Jerry Jacks’s son. Tracy thought they could pay him off, but first wanted to determine who he really was. “I know where to start,” Jason replied.

Daddy Issues
At the gatehouse, Chase told Willow he was moving off the estate in the wake of his divorce. Willow reassured him about co-parenting and offered to help him search for a new house. Chase thanked Willow for always knowing what to say to make him feel better.
Brook Lynn banged on the door and wailed to a shaken Chase that a man had shown up at the main house, claiming to be Phoebe’s father and threatening to take their daughter away.

How Sweet It Is
Dante kept his promise to help Elizabeth make cupcakes for the community center Halloween party. They grew closer during the baking session as Dante comforted Liz, who was sad because Aiden had moved out.
After Liz declined a call from a reporter seeking her comment on Lulu’s article, Dante apologized for whatever trouble Lulu’s sketchy actions had caused her. Liz didn’t blame Dante but said she was still mad at Lulu.

Liz accidentally smeared frosting on her cheek and in her hair, and as Dante tenderly cradled her face as he wiped it off, they shared a charged moment.
Desperate Times
At Miller & Davis, Ric tried to convince Alexis to get Monet to drop Willow’s libel suit. Realizing Ric was scared Monet might actually win, Alexis told him he’d be better off convincing Lulu to print a retraction — especially since, if Monet did win, Lulu would never work as a journalist again.
Ric knew it was a long shot, but he hoped to get the case settled before Thanksgiving, since Molly and Cody had invited him and Elizabeth to dinner at Alexis’s house. That was news to Alexis, who quipped that she’d try to behave at Thanksgiving, then wished Ric good luck with representing Lulu.

After Ric left, Jude showed up, saying that he needed Alexis to represent him in an urgent matter and she’d come highly recommended. When Alexis asked where the recommendation came from, she was shocked when the stranger announced he was Jerry’s son.
Group Therapy
Valentin accompanied Anna to a session with Dr. Nichols, where they delved into her early years with the WSB and dealings with Faison. When Anna stated she’d been assigned to Faison because of their previous connection (his mother had been her nanny), Valentin reminded her that she’d contacted Faison on her own.
Anna had a breakthrough, emotional as she realized that she’d hidden behind a false memory for decades and was responsible for bringing all the misery and torment that followed onto herself. Valentin contended that she was a teenager in over her head, so she couldn’t blame herself for Faison’s crimes; otherwise she was securing Faison’s hold over her.

Valentin begged Anna to forgive her younger self, adding that none of them could see how depraved Faison was. With Dr. Nichols’s encouragement, Anna sobbed repeatedly, “It wasn’t my fault,” and finally forgave herself.
Later, Anna told Valentin she was grateful he hadn’t listened to her about not joining her therapy. Valentin acknowledged that a part of his heart would always belong to Anna, and she returned the sentiment.
Cut to the Tape
Joe went to Carly’s office and questioned her about the hotel’s security system failure on the night Jack disappeared. Rather than admit she and Valentin had been snooping in Drew’s office when the system went down, Carly lied that she’d been in her office. She answered more of Joe’s questions, but when she began to suspect that he considered her a person of interest, Carly shut him down.

After Joe left, Carly viewed the security footage from the night in question and was shocked by something she saw. She immediately phoned Valentin and told him Charlotte and Danny had been at the Metro Court the last night Jack was seen alive.
Will Phoebe’s adoption be nullified? Do you think Elizabeth is better matched with Dante or Ric? What did Carly see Charlotte and Danny doing on the security footage? Share your thoughts about the latest episode of GH in the comments below, along with what you predict will happen next!
