General Hospital Recap: Charlotte Sets a Trap for Drew as Molly Catches Liz with Dante
In the Friday, September 18, episode of General Hospital, Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) set Drew (Cameron Mathison) up for a fall, Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) had a parenting clash, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) found out about Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) arrest, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) got Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) to unwind, and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) picked up on the chemistry between Lucas (Van Hansis) and Joe (Jonathan Bennett). Here’s the full rundown.
Risky Business
Danny was concerned when Charlotte didn’t meet him at the Quartermaine stables as they’d planned. Instead, she was waiting for Drew to arrive at the Metro Court. While the parking lot attendant retrieved another vehicle, Charlotte unlocked Drew’s car from the valet stand, then propped her cell phone on the wall to record the interior of the car, then climbed into the SUV.
Crouching on the floor of the front seat, Charlotte flashed back to the rest of her conversation with Danny in the stables: She proposed that if she caught Drew in a compromising position with her in his car, they could use the photos as blackmail to demand that Drew allow Danny to see Scout. Danny begged her not to go through with it, fearing it would place her in a dangerous situation.

Back at the stables, Danny had a bad feeling when he couldn’t get in touch with Charlotte. He called Aurora and confirmed that Drew was in a meeting, then rushed out.
Lying in Wait
Drew met with Jordan at the Gardens restaurant. He apologized for everything that had happened because of Brook Lynn’s role in the car accident. Jordan wasn’t interested in payback but hoped Brook Lynn would use the Quartermaine name to secure Curtis’s early release.

Drew doubted the Qs would follow through; Brook Lynn wasn’t facing serious legal consequences, so there was no incentive. He told Jordan that he’s been using his connections to inquire about expediting Curtis’s release himself. When a skeptical Jordan questioned his motives, Drew asserted that he’d reevaluated his choices while he was locked in and wanted to make amends with her and Curtis. Jordan appeared appreciative of Drew’s statement, but after he left, she shook her head in disbelief.
Out in the parking lot, Charlotte unzipped her hoodie and tugged it down her shoulders, exposing her tank top. Then, an unseen person opened the car door, and Charlotte gasped in surprise.

Family Feud
Also at the MC Gardens, Lulu angrily confronted Valentin for not telling her that Charlotte and Danny stole Chase’s truck and got into a fender bender. She felt Charlotte and Danny should spend less time together, considering all the trouble they’ve gotten into together.
Although Valentin acknowledged that both teenagers had a reckless streak, he argued that Danny has proven to be a good friend to Charlotte and didn’t want to put distance between them. Lulu retorted that Valentin was so attached to being the cool dad who was Charlotte’s friend that he’d forgotten to parent her, and she hoped Charlotte didn’t pay the price for his arrogance.

Frame of Mind
Ric delivered the bad news to Willow that the WSB had taken Nina into custody — and extradited her to Steinmauer — in connection with Jack’s disappearance and possible death. He asked if Willow was involved in anything involving Brennan that Nina would be trying to conceal, but she lied and said their relationship was strictly professional. Learning about Jack’s wallet turning up in Nina’s car, Willow insisted that her mother had been framed.
When Ric asked Willow if she knew who had set Nina up, Willow flashed back to Drew’s threatening her, but didn’t tell Ric about it. Willow put Ric on retainer to work on Nina’s release and declared that she’d use her Congressional position to bring her mother home.

Plot Twist
Elizabeth arrived at the police station and observed a stressed-out Dante shouting at one of Baines’s WSB agents that the PCPD was keeping Jack’s wallet in their evidence locker. Interceding before things escalated, Liz pulled Dante into the interrogation room, where he ranted about how the WSB destroys lives. Eventually, Dante confided that the real reason for his frustration was what the bureau had done to Anna and how he’d been unable to stop it from happening. Elizabeth reminded Dante that he couldn’t fix everything for everyone and suggested a way for him to relieve some stress.

Molly bumped into Joe and a slightly hungover Lucas at Aurora Wellness and learned that they were new roommates. Molly picked up on the sparks between them, but when she brought it up to Lucas, he denied anything was happening with Joe — then proceeded to make Molly’s case by rambling on about how great Joe was. Later, Molly smiled to herself as she watched the playful rapport between Joe and Lucas from afar.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth brought Dante to the gym for a yoga class. As Molly observed them together, her romance radar went off again — but this time, she was far less pleased, considering Elizabeth was dating her father.
