The Ex Factor
Chase returned home from his enlightening chat with Lucy and pointedly asked Brook Lynn if she was the one who’d framed Willow. Without revealing that she actually was the other driver, Brook Lynn confessed to hacking Willow’s trip log. Chase was furious, but Brook Lynn defended herself, insisting that she was only trying to get him to see Willow in a different light because it was clear to everyone except him that his ex-wife wanted him back.
When Chase accused his wife of creating distance between them, Brook Lynn tried to make him understand that she’d done it to protect their family. Chase replied that the worst part of what Brook Lynn had done was that she’d wronged Willow, and Brook Lynn was hurt that Willow was his primary concern. “She’s what matters most to you!” Brook Lynn accused.

Careful What You Wish For
Lulu lashed out at Carly about putting Valentin in contact with Charlotte and was shocked to learn that her cousin had hidden the fugitive in her house for months. Although Lulu was mildly sympathetic when Carly shared that she’d turned to Valentin for help getting Josslyn out of the WSB, she angrily revealed that she’d seen Carly and Valentin kiss outside G.H. Raged Lulu, “You put my daughter in danger because you needed to keep Valentin in your bed.”
As their argument continued, Carly warned Lulu that trying to keep Charlotte and Valentin apart was going to backfire, and Lulu sneered that being involved with Valentin would destroy Carly, just as it had Nina and Anna.

The Long Game
Valentin stopped by Josslyn’s hospital room. He thanked her for arranging his release with the WSB but questioned her motive. Joss replied that by making sure Valentin didn’t face charges, Carly would avoid being charged with aiding and abetting a fugitive. Before he left, Josslyn asked Valentin to deliver a message to Anna.
The next person to visit Josslyn was Jack. He was surprised to learn that she’d been the one to secure Valentin’s release. When Jack grumbled that Valentin was dangerous and bad for Carly, Josslyn shrugged that the couple wouldn’t last: She’d sent Valentin to tell Anna how Sidwell and Cullum had caused her mental breakdown — with the hope that Valentin’s fixation on Anna would lead to a breakup between him and Carly.

Drive Me Crazy
Obreecht asked Anna to help clear Cassius’s name by refocusing the Spoon Island fiasco on Cullum. Anna declined, citing her fragile mental health, so Liesl further tried to convince her by revealing that the WSB director was behind Anna’s mental breakdown: Cullum had held her captive in the same sub-basement room at Wyndemere where he’d previously held Anna and then later, Josslyn and Carly.
While Anna was relieved to have confirmation of her version of events, she felt that given the lengths Cassius went to to impersonate Nathan, he was also capable of following Faison’s final project to completion (and therefore wasn’t innocent). Liesl argued that Cullum had manipulated Cassius, but Anna held firm that as Faison’s son, Cassius would have known how to torture her. Refusing to allow her son to be painted as a monster when he died a hero, Liesl vowed that she’d clear Cassius’s name.

Later, there was another knock at Anna’s door — and this time, it was Valentin!
Close Call
Elizabeth was surprised to find Jack at the Cain house with Nina and Willow, but it saved her a trip since she wanted to share her and Lucas’s theory with them all that Chief Brennan and Drew might have been exposed to something environmental at the house, resulting in their strokes and locked-in syndrome. Liz suggested that perhaps Jack recovered quickly because he’d been at Turning Woods while Drew’s continued exposure at the house was keeping him sick.
Jack lied that he’d been exposed to a classified substance through the WSB the day he fell ill and doubted that Drew had been exposed to it as well. To cover why he was currently at the house, Jack added that he’d wanted to thank Nina for saving his life by acting so quickly that day. The explanation seemed to convince Elizabeth that there was no connection between Drew’s and Jack’s strokes.

Once Willow and Nina were alone, they were relieved to have finagled their way out of the close call. But it left Willow all the more determined to find Brennan’s evidence against Drew before Drew recovered and destroyed her life.
Baby Boom
Ava ran into Ethan at the Metro Court pool, where they squabbled as usual. She mentioned that while Ethan was bleeding out in the storage room, he’d admitted he wasn’t actually Phoebe’s father. At first, Ethan alleged he’d garbled his words, but he ultimately revealed that he’d made a promise to Delilah and was pretending to be Phoebe’s biological father to protect the little girl.
Certain that Ethan was trying to pull some scam over on the Quartermaines, Ava threatened to tell them the truth. But Ethan announced he was as serious about protecting Phoebe as he’d been about saving her life and asked her to drop it.

The Price Of Freedom
Det. Fitzpatrick met with Britt in the PCPD interrogation room and asked why she’d been injecting herself with saline. Britt bitterly explained how Cullum had tricked her into believing she was dying of Huntington’s, so she did anything he asked of her for an “experimental treatment” that turned out to be a placebo.
Joe handed Britt her release paperwork and revealed that she was free to leave since the WSB had declined to pursue charges against her. But after blowing up her life, Britt was jobless, penniless, and didn’t know where to begin to piece her life back together.

Who is Ethan trying to protect Phoebe from? How will Britt try to pick up the broken pieces of her life? Has Brook Lynn and Chase’s marriage been fractured forever? Share your thoughts on the latest episode of GH in the comments below.
