Maria Howell (Tracy): Anita (Tamara Tunie) reunites with one of the members of her former singing group, The Articulates. Howell has appeared on TV in shows like Saints & Sinners, Army Wives, Sacrifice and The Resident, and in films like The Color Purple, Christmas in the Friendly Skies, Summer Camp and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
Jon Lindstrom (Joey Armstrong): The casino owner continues his dangerous plan to undermine Doug’s marriage in order to launder money through Vanessa’s real estate business.
Destiny Love (Laura): Kat (Colby Muhammad) has gotten more information about Laura’s hit-and-run accident, thanks to having recorded her conversation with Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant), so expect to see more of Laura this week as the investigation heats up.

Delon de Metz (Zende Forrester Dominguez): Zende will work with Will (Crew Morrow) and Electra (Laneya Grace) to discuss a new line at Forrester Creations with Daphne (Murielle Hilaire).
Days of our Lives
Kristian Alfonso (Hope Williams Brady): As the search for a cure for Bo’s (Peter Reckell) sepsis kicks into high gear, thanks to the attempts of Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer), Hope will be back in the thick of things. Alfonso was last seen in December 2024 in episodes surrounding the funeral for her on-screen father, Doug (Bill Hayes). The actress’s on-screen return to the show coincides with the 40th anniversary of Bo and Hope’s landmark first wedding, which took place on May 23, 1985.
Michael Dietz (Dr. Jeffrey Russell): The doctor behind the top-secret drug to cure sepsis continues his work in Salem this week as he works with others to find his missing pharmeceutical.
Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady Weston): Things are looking more and more dire for Bo, and his daughter with Hope will be there to help support her mother. Konefal was last seen in the role in December 2024, when Ciara attended her grandfather Doug’s funeral. At the time, Ciara appeared without her husband, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), who was watching their new baby Addie (named after Ciara’s grandmother) and their son Bo, named after her beloved father, who at the time of the baby’s birth they thought had died.
Peter Reckell (Bo Brady): With everything riding on finding a cure for Bo, it was just a matter of time for the man himself to be seen — and this is the week! Bo was last seen in a coma, after getting shot by his own son, Shawn, in April 2023. When asked on X (formerly Twitter) if he would be open for a return, Reckell responded, “I would love to go back, the show just has to find room for me.” He went on to write, “Thanks so much for your continued support, it means a lot after all these years!!!”
Marissa Reyes (Ari Horton): As Digest exclusively reported last April, the character of Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Will’s (Chandler Massey) daughter has been aged and returns to Salem this week. The actress currently recurs on the Netflix series Running Point, which stars Kate Hudson and she will be seen in the upcoming horror film The Evilry, which stars Faye Dunaway and Teri Polo (ex-Kristin, Loving).

Nanzeen Contractor (ADA Justine Turner): The attorney is in the mix this week.
Bryce Durfee (Vaughn): Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) handler will finally meet her mother, Carly (Laura Wright). Will Joss’s secret life in the WSB come to light?

YDE (Herself): The actress-turned-musical artist, who used to go by the name Breanna Nicole Yde, will be performing at the Nurses’ Ball on May 22, according to Deadline. She was popular with Nickelodeon viewers, who may remember the actress from her turns on The Haunted Hathaways, Santa Hunters and School of Rock. She released her debut singles, “Stopped Buying Diamonds” and “BlindLife,” in 2020.
John J. York (Mac Scorpio): Expect to see the beloved cop at the festivities surrounding the Nurses’ Ball this week.
