The episode, based on Sloclap’s 2022 game, has MC fighting to avenge his father. With each labored trudge towards retribution, a talisman brings him back time and time again from death throughout the battle, but older and older with each reincarnation. Chris Marcantel (ex-Curtis Alden, Loving) wrote about him, “When I first read the script for my return to Loving, I laughed out loud. I was held captive by the evil Dante. He kept me shackled in a cage, fed me cat food and called me pussycat. My first line…’I am not a damn cat, I’m Curtis Alden! I swear you will rot in hell for what you’ve done to me and my family!’ There was one man who could make Opera of this Soap. My tormentor was the fabulous Thom Christopher. Working with him was a joy. He was a a fantastic actor as well as a kind and giving person. He will be missed by everyone who knew him or had the pleasure to work with him or see his work. RIP Thom.” Scott Bryce (ex-Craig Montgomery, As the World Turns) commented on Christopher’s official FB writing, “It was 1977 and I was a young actor, just starting out and, because my dad knew the producer, I was cast as a Roman Soldier in Caesar and Cleopatra with Rex Harrison and Elizabeth Ashley. There was a stellar supporting cast, including Thom Christopher as Appolodorus. He was always kind, supportive and respectful to everyone, including 19 year old me. And as my career evolved throughout the years, he remained so. A wonderful actor, a wonderful human. Prayers up for him and his family
.” Cady McClain (ex-Jennifer Horton Deveraux, DAYS; ex-Dixie Cooney Martin, All My Children) also commented saying, “A lovely, passionate, talented actor. He was always very kind to me.”
