Bold and Beautiful Comings & Goings: Familiar Face Returns After 11-Year Absence
A familiar face is returning to Bold and Beautiful for the first time in over a decade: Big Brother legend Rachel Reilly is coming back to the CBS soap as Rachel for two episodes airing on Thursday, November 13, and Friday, November 14. The news of her comeback first broke back in September, and now Reilly is opening up about her latest visit. “One of the biggest things I was hoping for going into Big Brother [this year] was that I would get to have another walk-on role on Bold and the Beautiful,” she told TV Insider. “I was so excited.”
Real Drama
For many years, B&B has offered Big Brother winners and contestants guest spots on the soap after their season of the competitive reality series comes to an end. Reilly made her first appearance as Bikini Bar waitress Rachel back in 2010, and while most Big Brother guest stars only make one visit, she has returned for more in 2011, 2013, and 2014. In fact, these two shows will mark her 30th and 31st episodes of B&B, a show that has always been very special to her.
“I’m a huge fan of the soap,” Reilly declared to TV Insider. “I used to watch it with my nana — it’s her story. Everyone is so kind, and I feel like over the past 15 years, I’ve gotten to know the actors and everyone that works behind the scenes, so it’s such a dream come true. I feel grateful to be back on set and have had the opportunity to work with them again.”

This time around, Reilly’s scenes will be with Don Diamont (Bill), Heather Tom (Katie), and Scott Clifton (Liam), though she will not be serving them at the Bikini Bar. Instead, Rachel will be working as an energy healer and spiritual cleanser for the Spencer family. Something that they are in great need of, given the recent drama that Luna has put all of them through. Though Reilly shared that she had yet another job in mind for her alter ego, joking, “In my head, I’m being promoted or maybe I’m going to buy the Bikini Bar because I’ve been saving up from all the tips I’ve been getting.”
Despite competing in reality series like Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and The Traitors, Reilly shared that she holds a special fondness for daytime. “I love, love, love the soaps,” she declared. “They feel very unscripted, and the stories are so over the top. You get to be a larger-than-life personality, and that’s why I love unscripted as well, but I think I really am leaning towards scripted. The older I get, these competition shows are a lot of work, I’ll just say that. They’re not for the faint of heart. Some of these physical competitions are tricky, and they test your strength, so I think that living in the glamorous world of The Bold and The Beautiful sounds kind of nice.”
