General Hospital Recap: Tracy is Arrested for Assault as Brook Lynn Frames Willow
The Friday, June 12, episode of General Hospital was full of set-ups and take-downs! Chase (Josh Swickard) arrested Tracy (Jane Elliot) after she got into a scuffle with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) updated Lucy (Lynn Herring) on her plan to get Willow out of her husband’s life once and for all, Justine (Nazneen Contractor) questioned how similar Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Lucas’s (Van Hansis) accounts about Sidwell (Carlo Rota) were, Ethan (Nathan Dean) broke into the PCPD cold case closet, and Kristina (Kate Mansi) shared her parting wish with Michael (Rory Gibson) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos). Here’s how it all happened.
Lie By Omission
Lucas went to the PCPD to give Acting D.A. Turner his statement regarding Sidwell. Before interviewing Lucas, Justine instructed Chase to stay away from the case, not wanting him to do anything that could potentially undermine it once Sidwell was apprehended. In the interrogation room, Lucas explained to Justine how he’d pieced together that Pascal had potentially killed Marco (of course, not telling her that he’d set up the butler) and that after Pascal ran off, he was worried that he’d be the target of Sidwell’s anger, so he’d gone to Laura for help. Then, he, Laura, and Sonny decided that Lucas should confront Sidwell in a controlled environment where the PCPD could intervene. When Turner questioned why Lucas put himself in such a dangerous situation, Lucas shared that he’d done it because he loved Marco… and it was Sidwell’s fault that Marco was killed. With Sidwell and Pascal both on the run, Justine insisted on placing Lucas under police protection.

Later, Justine ran into Chase, who had changed into civilian clothes at the end of his shift but was holding a case file, in the department room. The two got at it over how he’d sabotaged Willow’s case. Justine snapped that she didn’t trust him and didn’t want him on the squad, warning that if Chase put one toe out of line, she’d have him fired.
Arriving at the station for his appointment with Justine, Sonny overheard her argument with Chase and then joined her in the interrogation room to give his statement. Although Sonny’s statement matched Lucas’s, Justine suspected they were purposely holding back parts of the story and was upset that Sonny wasn’t being honest with her. She accused Sonny of working with Lucas to entrap Sidwell by intentionally provoking him.
Sonny replied that he’d wanted to do it himself, but Lucas had insisted on being the one to face Sidwell, and now Lucas had gotten Sidwell on an open-and-shut case of attempted homicide — which the PCPD hadn’t been able to do. Sonny lamented that Sidwell had gotten away, and Justine speculated that Sonny had perhaps facilitated Sidwell’s escape so he could kill his enemy himself and claim self-defense. Straight-faced, Sonny replied that that was great insight, and he’d keep it in mind the next time he saw Sidwell.

Make A Splash
Tracy lured Willow to the Quartermaine boathouse and confronted her about manipulating and moving in on Chase. Pushing back, Willow accused Tracy of helping Michael frame her for shooting Drew, then scoffed that Tracy hated her because Willow’s children loved her while Ned and Dillon couldn’t stand Tracy.
As the women stood on the dock, their argument escalated, and Tracy grabbed Willow’s arm while warning her to steer clear of the Quartermaine family. Then, Willow spotted Chase approaching the boathouse and yelled out that Tracy was hurting her. Willow wound up in the lake and Chase dove in to rescue her as Tracy rolled her eyes at how gullible he was. Although Tracy denied the accusation when Willow insisted that Tracy had pushed her into the lake, Chase arrested Tracy anyway!

Desperate Times
After updating Sonny on their adoption status with Phoebe, Brook Lynn asked him for Brick’s contact info, saying she needed the hacker’s discreet brand of expertise to protect her family. Brook Lynn got in touch with Brick, then met with Lucy and shared that she had an expert who was investigating Willow’s alibi. Her consultant could also hack into the GPS on Willow’s car — which happened to be a black SUV — and place her on Route 91 at the time of Curtis and Jordan’s accident.
Brook Lynn insisted that she normally wouldn’t take advantage of Jordan and Curtis’s misfortune, but Willow had to be stopped. Cutting Willow out of Chase’s life had to be Chase’s decision, Brook Lynn added — and sometimes a deception was needed to reveal a bigger truth.

Bagged And Tagged
Ethan met with Alexis, who tried to convince him to agree to an open adoption because Brook Lynn and Chase wanted the baby to have a connection to her biological father. Ethan remained set on a closed adoption even when Alexis pointed out that Phoebe would then never know the Spencer side of her family. When Alexis next argued that Ethan was the only one who could tell Phoebe about her birth mom, he agreed that Phoebe should know who Delilah was. Later, dressed as a uniformed patrolman, Ethan entered the PCPD’s cold case closet. Searching through a box, he removed an evidence bag and pocketed it.

The Last Good-Bye
Before they took her to the airport, Kristina had breakfast with Michael and Molly at the Metro Court Gardens and told her siblings she wanted them to lean on one another while she was gone. Kristina gave Michael the rundown on Molly’s love life, then brought Molly up to speed on Michael’s issues with Willow. Michael and Molly agreed to spend more time together and shared with Kristina how proud they were of her for pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor.

Will Tracy’s arrest stick? Is Brook Lynn going too far by framing Willow? What do you think was in the bag Ethan swiped from the cold case file? Share your GH thoughts and predictions in the comments below!
