The Young and the Restless Spoilers Photos for February 5: Abby and Devon Get Help and Adam and Cane Clash

Knowing that it was Mariah who abducted Dominic gave Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James) some reassurance that their son wasn’t with a complete stranger. But it still doesn’t keep the parents from worrying about the boy’s safety, given Mariah’s fragile and unpredictable state of mind.

Unfortunately, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) hasn’t been in touch with her wife in ages, and what she knows about Mariah’s mental state isn’t going to help make Abby and Devon feel any better.

Perhaps talking mother to mother, Tessa can help by convincing Abby that Mariah would never do anything to hurt Dominic. Still, that would be cold comfort, as Abby’s son is still missing and no one knows where Mariah has taken him.

Of course, Tessa wants Mariah and Dominic to be found as soon as possible, even if Mariah’s return means having to tell her wife that she’s filed for divorce — but maybe not that she’s fallen for Daniel!

Cane’s (Billy Flynn) moment of triumph was fleeting when Victor ordered him to sign Newman Enterprises back over to him, threatening that if he didn't, he’d never see his family again. Cane has claimed that everything he does has been for Lily and their children, but is that still true?

When Adam (Mark Grossman) stops by the Chancellor Park Cafe, he and Cane naturally clash. Adam has supported his father’s manipulative plan, and is enjoying watching Cane squirm.

Will Cane attempt to persuade Adam that what Victor is doing is wrong? Or will the two men just exchange some heated words and get nowhere?

Abby and Devon know that they’re going to need to enlist more aid in locating Mariah and Dominic and bringing them home to Genoa City, and as much as Tessa and Sharon (Sharon Case) want to help, they’re going to need a professional. That's where Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) comes in.

Burrow already helped Sharon when her family was being terrorized by Matt Clark, so can the detective help find her daughter, Mariah? Perhaps an outsider’s eye is exactly what’s needed in this situation.

The longer that Dominic is missing, the more worried Abby and Devon become for their son’s safety. How far will they go to ensure that the child is brought home? And can they ever forgive Mariah for her actions?
