On the Tuesday, July 22 episode of Days of Our Lives, spoilers tease that Brady (Eric Martsolf) does what he can to be there for Tate (Leo Howard), while Melinda (Tina Huang) comes up with a new plan with Sophia (Rachel Boyd). Also, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) has had it with EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) actions, as Stephanie (Abigail Klein) loses it with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). Lastly, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is anxious regarding her battle for custody of Victoria with Xander (Paul Telfer).     Tate (Leo Howard, r.) is still spinning after finding out via a phone message from Sophia that she's in labor. Brady (Eric Martsolf) is there for Tate in every way that he can. He knows Tate is probably worried sick about what is happening right now with Sophia — and this comes right on the heels of rescuing Holly and Ari from the warehouse where they had been held hostage.

    Knowing he can count on his father surely means everything to Tate during this trying time. First, he found out Sophia had gone to Chicago to meet with a family about adopting their baby, and then he learned she was in labor — all without him.

    Tate opens the door to Sophia (Rachel Boyd). He has no idea she gave birth a few days earlier, gave the baby up, and that he is now being fostered by the entire Hernandez household, especially Javi and Leo. What kind of tale will Sophia spin for the father of her child?

    Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) has had to tolerate the cost cutting that EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) has implemented ever since he took over the finances of University Hospital, but something else must happen because she lets him know she's had it with his antics. What does EJ do this time?

    Kayla appears to be holding her tongue when her daughter Stephanie (Abigail Klein) enters. Stephanie has an interview with EJ regarding a job working as the hospital’s publicist. Will she get an offer and if so, will she take it?

    It appears that things are going well for Stephanie, though her mother may not believe this is the right move after all. But with her daughter on board working at the same place, it may turn out to be a good opportunity for them to get even closer.

    Stephanie has an emotional outburst during a conversation with her boyfriend Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). What does he say that causes her to lose control? He's no fan of the DiMeras, so does he question why she would want to work with EJ, of all people? Or does it have to do with something else?

    After what happens with Stephanie, is Alex left to do some damage control? Or is he simply working from home, avoiding the tension in the workplace between his bosses, Xander and Philip? Considering the half brothers hate each other, it likely isn’t a very healthy work environment for Alex.
