Days of Our Lives Spoilers for January 2: An Unexpected Guest at Leo and Javi’s Wedding!

Javi (Al Calderon, l.) looks more than a little nervous, so does he have some wedding day jitters? Rafe (Galen Gering) seems ready to stand by his cousin and offer some support and words of encouragement to help him get through it.

Gabi (Cherie Jimenez, r.) wasn’t exactly the biggest fan of the guy that her cousin fell in love with, but she’s slowly come around on Leo and is there at the ceremony with her daughter, Ari (Marissa Reyes) to celebrate the union.

With Marlena (Deidre Hall) officiating, this would be the perfect time for Gab, Ari, Rafe, and Chad (Billy Flynn) to settle any last-minute details before things get underway.

Things had been more than a little strained since Gwen (Emily O’Brien) returned to Salem, but while former BFF Leo (Greg Rikaart) thinks they're getting back on track, she's got something else in mind.

Gwen also has quite the history with Chad, but perhaps that can all be water under the bridge? Or does he still hold a grudge for all the lying, scheming, and blackmailing?

Chad joins Marlena in witnessing Leo and Javi happily signing their wedding license as Gwen looks on from a distance.

Ari grabs a little time alone with Javi, but is she trying to help ease his nerves, or perhaps offer him some advice?

Leo and Javi’s big day takes an unexpected turn when Dimitri (Peter Porte) arrives at the wedding ceremony. He dumped Leo ages ago, but is he there to wish the couple well or throw a monkey wrench into the works?

As the ceremony kicks off, Gwen offers her pal a thumbs up from her seat as though giving this union her seal of approval.

With the Christmas tree as a sparkling backdrop, Marlena officiates the nuptials and Leo and Javi exchange wedding vows.

After being pronounced married, the husbands follow tradition by sharing a romantic kiss to seal the deal.

The newlyweds raise their hands in triumph as they celebrate their marriage. Now it’s time for the reception!
