Young and Restless Spoilers Video Promo: ‘I Don’t Think That’s A Good Idea, Necessarily’
Wheeling and Dealing
The action in this Young and Restless spoilers preview for the week of August 4 opens at Newman Media, specifically Adam’s (Mark Grossman) office, as Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Claire (Hayley Erin) pay her uncle a visit. “What brings you guys by?” Adam asks. Claire takes the lead and says to him, “Why else do Newmans drop by each other’s offices unannounced? To make a deal.” Kyle looks almost surprised by what she says, but surely they worked this out beforehand, right? What kind of deal are they hoping to make with Adam?
Heard It Through the Grapevine
Victor (Eric Braeden) runs into Lily (Christel Khalil) and Devon (Bryton James) at Crimson Lights. He gets right to the point. “Lily, are you aware that Cane Ashby is in town?” Victor announces. “We were actually just talking about that, and I plan to avoid him at all costs,” Lily tells him, exchanging knowing glances with Devon as she speaks. Victor may take them by surprise when he says, “I don’t think that’s a good idea, necessarily.” Will they take what Victor says under advisement? It’s not like either of them completely trusts The Mustache.
Meeting of the Minds
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) meets with Cane (Billy Flynn), ready to strategize about his upcoming takeover of Genoa City. “Someone else is joining us,” Cane announces. “Well, they must be a heavy-hitter if you’re letting them into your business world,” Phyllis observes. Cane opens the door to find Billy (Jason Thompson) on the other side. “Who is ready to make some waves?” Billy asks with a cocky grin. It’s hard to tell if Phyllis is happy to see her ex — or bracing for trouble.
