What’s a quality you look for in a friend? “Someone who’s loyal, someone who is always going be there for me as much as I’m there for them. If they can reciprocate, that’s very important to me.”
Which co-star can always make you laugh? “Obba [Babatundé, Julius], immediately! Honestly, he can say, ‘What’s up?’ and I just burst into tears laughing. He’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever met in my whole life.”
What’s your least favorite household chore? “Washing dishes, because I’m lazy and I cook. I’m like, ‘Let me just watch another episode and then I’ll get right to it,’ and the next thing you know it’s 11 p.m. and I still haven’t washed up.”
What is your favorite comfort food? “A decent pastrami Reuben with the sauerkraut, but I’m bad with dairy, so I have to take the Thousand Island off.”
What phrase do you tend to overuse? “I use the word ‘yikes’ a lot and also because I’m English, instead of just saying ‘regular’ or ‘normal’, I say ‘regular-degular.’ I know I overuse that a lot. I’m from the North, so leave me alone [laughs].”
