Kevin Stapleton’s Kevin became an investigative reporter and fell for rival reporter Cassie Carpenter…. Cassie was married to Andrew and didn’t want to get involved with Kevin. Kevin then dated Téa Delgado but that made Cassie jealous…. Cassie left Andrew and married Kevin. (Stapleton with Robert S. Woods, Bo, left)
1998-2001
While Timothy Gibbs’ Kevin was involved with Cassie, nurse Barbara fell in love with him…. Kevin and Barbara made love while being held hostage by Todd…. Barbara tried to kill Cassie for interfering with her and Kevin. Cassie was shot and paralyzed…. After Cassie went insane, she was shipped off to Switzerland and their marriage was annulled…. Grace Davidson and Kevin grew close and eventually became engaged…. After Grace died, Kevin found comfort in Kelly, who was involved with his brother, Joey…. In March 2001, Kevin left town to go to Texas to care for his son, Duke and got a job for a local newspaper. Kelly moved down to Texas to live with him a few months later.
