New Sudser STAR to Debut After EMPIRE Fall Finale
Lee Daniels’s new prime-time soap, STAR, will debut immediately following the EMPIRE season 3 fall finale on December 14. EMPIRE will air an hour earlier, at 8 p.m., followed by the premiere of STAR at 9 p.m. New episodes of that series will resume on Wednesday, January 4, in EMPIRE’s 9 p.m. timeslot. STAR follows thr trials and tribulations of three talented young singers with ambitions of stardom as they make their way in the cutthroat music business.
