Miss Any of Monday’s General Hospital Due to the Preemption? Here’s How to Watch The Entire Episode
Soap fans are never happy when breaking news coverage interrupts their favorite daytime dramas, such as on Monday, April 6, when the first half of General Hospital was preempted by a presidential news conference for some East Coast viewers. However, those affected can easily catch up on what they missed so that they don’t fall behind.

Because this was not a national preemption, GH aired without interruption in other time zones, and those viewers were able to watch the entire show as usual. For anyone who was affected by the interruption, though, the Monday episode can easily be viewed in full through other means.
GH is always uploaded for streaming on Hulu every evening around 8 p.m. ET, so fans who subscribe to that service can watch all the drama unfold there. The soap can also be viewed online at ABC.com, which normally requires a login with a cable provider, though in cases like this, ABC will often drop the login requirement and allow everyone the chance to catch up, so no one misses a single episode.
There’s still plenty of drama left to pick up on after Friday’s cliffhanger, with Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Sidwell (Carlo Rota) facing off in the church following Marco’s (Adrian Anchondo) funeral, Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) wondering if he would ever see his father, Jason (Steve Burton), again, and more. Plus, as the GH Weekly Spoilers Video previewed, this week is going to be full of action as Sidwell orders someone to be taken out — permanently — and Carly (Laura Wright), Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) are all involved in a potentially deadly car accident.
