2001 SUMMER LOVIN’: The school’s summer environmental study tour to Puerto Rico proved to be an adventure Mimi and her pals would never forget. As Shawn, Belle and Philip searched for Alice’s ruby red necklace and fended off the evil Paul, Mimi found love with the class “brainiac,” Kevin. Once he took off his glasses — AND his shirt — Mimi fell for the brawny Clark Kent wannabe.2002 MY BOYFRIEND, THE ALIEN: After Kevin headed off to an out-of-state college, Mimi was all by her lonesome, again. Then, Gemini Twins Rex and Cassie arrived in Salem, and Mimi found herself strangely attracted to the sexy alien boy. Although Rex suffered from mind-altering headaches that turned him into a hothead, Mimi stood by her man. The couple ultimately made love, Rex mellowed out, and he and Mimi have been together ever since.2003 MOMMY DEAREST: Just when Mimi’s life was back on track and moving full speed ahead — she’d socked a major chunk of cash away from her stint on the game show, Love is Blind — her trashy mother, Bonnie, popped back into her life. Mimi fought to keep her gold-digging mom from meddling in her relationship with Rex, but, unfortunately, couldn’t keep her out of her bank account. Mimi soon learned that her mom had squandered away every last cent of HER savings account on the lottery.2004 MARRY ME: After learning that Rex was set to propose to her, but didn’t because Bonnie refused to give him her daughter’s hand in marriage, Mimi was heartbroken. But then she decided to take matters into her own hands. Mimi got down on her knee and asked Rex to marry her! Although Rex turned her down, insisting that he wasn’t able to take care of her the way a husband should at this point in his life, Mimi understood and they decided to continue their relationship as is…for now.
