At the farm, Tammy told Jonathan that she would call him back later. Meanwhile, at Company, Olivia was excited by a message from Bill and considered going to Venezuela to try to reconcile with him. Jonathan worried that she would get hurt, but they bonded over not caring about the opinions of others. Olivia believed that outside of the Springfield fishbowl, she and Bill could be happy, which gave Jonathan an idea, and he ran out. Olivia received an unhappy package from Bill — divorce papers. She arranged to meet Josh to meet in her room. At the farm, Tammy told Cassie that she spoke to Ava, then announced that she had to return the wedding gifts and began throwing the presents out the door (A. Didn’t Cassie hide all evidence of the wedding earlier this week? B. The stores won’t take the gifts back if they’re broken, Tam Tam. Handle with care.) Tammy took Cassie to the site of the biggest gift she had to return: The cottage Sandy planned to give her. Tammy wasn’t sure what she wanted anymore, and Blake confused her further when she arrived and explained that Jonathan saw the house before Sandy and had made an offer. Tammy ran out and found Jonathan at the farm where he was looking for her. She greeted him with a kiss, and he admitted that he did try to buy the house, but changed his mind because it seemed like something Sandy would do — and he wasn’t Sandy. Jonathan had an idea that he believed would help make Tammy’s life easier: she should leave town with him. He explained that he wasn’t pressuring her but wanted to offer her a way out. She agreed and went inside to pack. While Tammy was outside, Cassie arrived home and wondered what Jonathan was doing there.

Marina refused to fix Alan-Michael’s traffic ticket — it was a small price to pay in exchange for her company, she sassed. With Alan-Michael gone, Coop asked her to help Buzz shake a case of the December blues. Then, Coop told Buzz that Marina was in the dumps over Danny. Buzz and Marina decided to spend the day together, each hoping to cheer the other, but quickly realized that Coop set them up. When Buzz went to deal with a kitchen emergency, Alan-Michael warmed his seat. Marina answered Alan-Michael’s phone to find Alan on the other end. Alan-Michael brushed off his father, then gave Marina a note on a napkin in case she wanted to end her pity party. Upon returning, Buzz assured that Marina would find a man who would make her forget Danny. Marina excused herself, then confronted Alan-Michael with the napkin, on which he had written “Paris.” He explained it was an invitation to Paris. She agreed to tag along as long as it wasn’t a date.

Lizzie dreamed of a new dress and a splashy Christmas gift for Coop but turned down Quinn’s offer of more money. Meanwhile, Sandy arranged a meeting to follow up on the divorce and a distraught Ava took off to CO2, where Coop agreed to serve her though they weren’t open yet. Ava blanched when he made a clunky joke about the wedding debacle, but disliked his pity more. When he refilled her glass, the tap malfunctioned and they wrestled with it, becoming drenched in the process, as Lizzie looked on. Lizzie suggested that Ava “crawl under a rock somewhere and die,” but Coop thought a night out with him and Lizzie was a better option. Ava turned him down, and went back to Sandy’s room. Lizzie icily suggested Coop change out of his wet clothes, and when she spotted Quinn, she decided to take him up on his offer of more money. He agreed on the condition that she went out to dinner with him.
