Gus set up a camera to spy on the hotel across the street and he and Harley spotted Wallace. They donned disguises from the soap wardrobe department (Since P&G is so keen on product placement, couldn’t Harley use some Nice ‘n Easy to change her hair color instead of an endless stream of conspicuous headgear?) and rushed to the hotel. The pair posed as tourists. Gus distracted the desk clerk by asking for directions while Harley found Wallace’s room number on the computer. As they tried to break into Wallace’s room, Sebastian pulled the fire alarm. Gus and Harley went back to the soap set and got in the mood by reading from soap scripts.

Alex struggled with her decision to keep Alan’s secret. Alan ordered Sebastian to go after Wallace first and then search for Harley. He informed Alex that the gloves would be safer in his possession than hers. Meanwhile, Lizzie snuck Coop into the Spaulding attic. She reminisced about living with Phillip and Beth in Arizona. Coop found some of Lizzie’s poems in a trunk and began to read them aloud. He offered a diagnosis of Lizzie’s troubled past: you were lonely, not crazy. Alex found the teens and freaked. Alex informed Lizzie that she was putting Coop in danger.

Dinah told Cassie that Edmund had her kidnapped to keep her quiet. Cassie left the barn, and Edmund stormed in looking for Dinah. He grabbed her arm and she picked up a shovel to defend herself. Edmund took the shovel from her…just as Cassie walked in to find Edmund standing over Dinah with a shovel. Cassie told Edmund that she was done with him for good. “I don’t love you anymore,” she told him, adding that she didn’t believe he was capable of love. Cassie stormed out. Edmund told Dinah that she should “be very scared of me right now.” Dinah replied that she wasn’t afraid, she was in love. Cassie showed up on Jeffrey’s doorstep and kissed him.
