GH Fave Finola Hughes On Anna’s Transitional Year
In the new Soap Opera Digest, Finola Hughes talks about her character’s change in direction after her long period of mourning (and seeking justice) for Duke. Even as she acknowledges that it’s been difficult to weather the losses of co-stars like Ian Buchanan (ex-Duke) and Jason Thompson (ex-Patrick, now Y&R’s Billy), she’s psyched to have a new nemesis in James Patrick Stuart’s Valentin, observing, “He gets inside her head the same way that Faison did.” As for playing another love story, she shrugs, “I honestly believe that other people do it better than I do, and I’m fine with that.” For much more with Hughes, check out the new issue, on sale today.
