General Hospital’s Josslyn and Vaughn Reunite!
General Hospital‘s Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was in for a big surprise when her ex-lover, Vaughn (Bryce Durfee), returned to Port Charles and paid her a visit. Here’s what happened they reunited on the July 6 episode.
Josslyn Reunites with Vaughn
Josslyn was alone in her hospital room after an emotional visit with Lucas (Van Hansis), lost in thought, when she heard a knock. She turned her head and was greeted by the sight of Vaughn, leaning casually against the door with a smile on his face. “Vaughn!” she gasped. “How’s my wife doin’?” he replied playfully.
Joss asked him what he was doing in town and he winked, “Well, it was a successful mission, but not a very discreet one.” Joss deduced that the WSB had dispatched him to Port Charles for clean-up. Closing the door behind him, Vaughn confirmed that Z had picked him because of his knowledge of the players involved in foiling Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
Joss wondered if his transfer was permanent, but Vaughn revealed he’d be heading to Borneo in three hours. “But I wanted to see you before I left,” he added. She told him he was glad he did, then mused that while she couldn’t see it at the time, she understood now why Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) had sent him away. “Yeah,” Vaughn said. “He did us a favor.”
Gazing into Vaughn’s eyes, Joss noted that they had gotten too close, and their involvement would have interfered with their work. He nodded in agreement.
Josslyn shared how she had just apologized to Lucas for manipulating him and when he’d asked if she would do it again, she had told the truth. “I mean, I lied, and I used people, but being an agent isn’t being about what’s right or what’s wrong. It’s about doing what’s necessary.”
“Wow,” Vaughn marveled. “Look at the rookie who’s not a rookie anymore.” As she chuckled softly, he declared, “Welcome to the club, Agent Jacks.”
Long Distance Relationship
Vaughn, a more veteran employee of the WSB, first met Josslyn when she was training as an agent in March 2025. Back in Port Charles, he became her handler and while working together, sparks flew. Those sparks only became more pronounced when Vaughn had to pose as Josslyn’s boyfriend to maintain her cover — and they grew even harder to ignore in the summer, when Brennan sent them to the Five Poppies undercover as newlyweds, “Mr. and Mrs. Nash.”
While dodging assassins, Joss and Vaughn’s attraction boiled over and they slept together for the first time. After the Five Poppies blew up, the duo made their way to Australia for some alone time. Brennan caught up to them there and ordered them to stop seeing each other, as it was a violation of WSB policy.
Once they were back in Port Charles, they tried to keep their distance, but soon began secretly seeing each other again. But Brennan figured out what they were doing and sent Vaughn out of town as punishment for violating his direct order. Prior to today’s episode, Josslyn and Vaughn had not seen each other since November 2025.
