General Hospital Recap: Josslyn Buys the Piers Out From Under Sonny
On General Hospital on Monday, October 12, the auction for the piers brought out heavy-hitter bidders including Sonny (Maurice Benard), Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Vaentin (James Patrick Stuart), but it was Josslyn (Eden McCoy) who came out on top. Meanwhile, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) denied the claims in Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) article, Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) stalker had eyes on her, and more! Keep on reading for the full rundown.
Plausible Deniability
At G.H., Dante questioned Sidwell about his quotes in Lulu’s article about giving Willow a WSB drug to administer to Drew. Sidwell insisted that he’d been heavily medicated and had no recollection of speaking to a reporter. He denied the allegations in the story, including that he’d installed Willow in Congress once Drew was incapacitated because she’d be easier to control.

Dante pushed the issue, so Sidwell told the acting police commissioner to check the visitor log, noting that it was doubtful his medical team would have cleared a visit by a reporter in his condition. Speaking hypothetically, Dante understood why Sidwell would question the article’s legitimacy, because it read like a confession, and Sidwell replied it would have been a confession obtained under duress.
Dante pointed out that Drew and Willow were witnesses to the events, prompting Sidwell to flash back to threatening to take down Willow if she exposed him. Sidwell stonewalled, insisting he needed to rest, but after Dante left, it was clear he was shaken.
Plot Twist

A furious Drew went to Lulu’s house and tore into her about getting the HIPAA waiver under false pretenses and not publishing the story he’d agreed to. Lulu asserted the story had changed as she’d reviewed her notes and offered Drew the opportunity to go on the record about his wife’s crimes.
Lulu asked if Drew knew Willow was drugging him, and Drew replied by asking if Lulu knew her “deranged” daughter broke into his car.
Lulu didn’t admit to knowing what Charlotte had done and kept pressing him about Willow. After threatening to break her phone and accusing her of quoting Lucas and Elizabeth out of context, Drew warned Lulu to stay away from his family before storming out.
Later, Dante stopped by, and Lulu was relieved to see a friendly face — but she was dumbfounded when Dante shared that Sidwell had denied everything in the article because he’d been hopped up on pain meds during the interview.
Highest Bidder
At Sonny’s house, Ric assured his brother the anonymous online bid they’d made for Sidwell’s piers was higher than Drew’s. While still bummed about Gio moving out, Sonny was looking forward to attending the auction in person to see Drew’s reaction to Sonny beating him.

Over at the Metro Court, Carly and Ezra readied the conference room to announce the winner. As one of the bidders, Valentin arrived, just back from bringing Charlotte to boarding school in Maine.
Carly told him that she believed Sonny wasn’t behind the attacks at Pentonville, but was concerned that if her ex won back the piers, everyone would think he’d lied about going legit.
Meanwhile, Josslyn enacted her plan to destroy Sonny by breaking into the hotel’s electrical closet and physically disabling a security feature on the new system. Then, Hudson accessed the auction data and entered the highest bid for JJE at the last second before the auction closed.

Surprise Guest
Sonny and Ric arrived for the meeting, followed by Selina Wu and Brad. Selina and Sonny agreed that the events following the fire at Charlie’s Pub that nearly killed Kristina (which Sidwell had framed her for) were water under the bridge.
Drew joined the rest of the bidders in the conference room. Carly and Valentin were shocked when Hudson entered. Ezra then logged into the auction site and announced that Hudson was the new owner of Piers 55 and 56.
As Ric and Drew demanded to know who the unknown man was working for, Josslyn sauntered into the conference room and announced that Hudson Parker worked for her.

Somebody’s Watching Me
As Trina and Gio prepared for their next gig at the Cat’s Eye Lounge, Emma updated Trina that Gio had just moved out of Sonny’s house and they were getting a place together. Knowing how much Gio loved his grandfather, Trina felt guilty, but Emma assured her that Gio had made his own decision. Later, as Trina and Gio did a soundcheck on stage, someone watched through the club’s window…

Is Lulu facing legal issues for her article? Might Sonny try to pressure Josslyn into selling him the piers? Will Trina’s stalker make an appearance at her performance? Share your feedback on the latest episode of GH in the comments below, along with your theories about what will happen next.
