TUNE-IN ALERT

General Hospital Spoilers Video: ‘We Don’t Leave Without Josslyn’

Comments

The General Hospital spoilers video for the week of June 22 previews two desperate mothers and one returning fan favorite — Finola Hughes as Anna!

Who Can You Trust?

Lulu (Alexa Havins) is with Laura (Genie Francis) at her mom’s penthouse, but her mind is on her missing son. “Dante [Dominic Zamprogna] and I have to get to Rocco [Genie Francis] before Cullum [Andrew Hawkes],” she tells Laura, her voice husky with emotion and a tear running down her cheek. Rocco is shown next, clearly upset as he looks toward the door of the cabin where he and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) have been hiding out. Speaking of Britt, she enters the cabin and is immediately alarmed by what she sees. Has Cullum managed to track her and Rocco to the British Virgin Islands — and if so, do they stand a chance of surviving?

The action then shifts to the kitchen of Carly’s (Laura Wright) house. “Your niece is a WSB agent,” she announces to Lucas (Van Hansis) in a somber tone. Like Lulu, she has clearly been crying — and like Lulu, she is terrified for one of her children. In Carly’s case, her fear emanates from knowing — or at least strongly suspecting — exactly where her daughter Josslyn (Eden McCoy) is: being held hostage at Wyndemere. The mood is intense as Carly tells Lucas, “We go in.” “And we don’t leave without Josslyn,” Lucas replies, completing his sister’s thought.

Josslyn is shown next, looking very glum in her cell. But maybe her luck finally is about to change!

The promo ends in France, where Anna has been undergoing psychiatric treatment for the past several months after her own kidnapping ordeal at Wyndemere, in tandem with the hallucinogens she was fed by her captors, left her convinced that Faison (Anders Hove) and Peter (Wes Ramsey) are alive. “Bonsoir,” chirps one of the two medical professionals who walk into Anna’s hospital room. Anna, who is sitting on her bed, knitting calmly, says nothing, but flashes them a look of steely determination.

In Soap Opera Digest‘s exclusive GH summer preview, Head Writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten warned, “We’ll begin to see the long-term effects of her imprisonment and gaslighting at Cullum’s hands.” So viewers should brace themselves for the mental state the heroine is in when she resurfaces….
