General Hospital Spoilers Promo Video: ‘I Think That’s a Body!’

Things are going from bad to worse in the General Hospital spoilers promo video for the week of August 25! Stella (Vernee Watson) is in big trouble and there may be nothing that Curtis (Donnell Turner) can do to save her, Kristina (Kate Mansi) witnesses a shocking confrontation between Ava (Maura West) and Ric (Rick Hearst), and Rocco (Finn Carr) and Danny (Asher Atonyzyn) make a grisly discovery. Just another day in Port Charles!

The Long Arm of the Law

Curtis was furious that Drew has been attacking him through his family members, especially calling the feds on his aunt. But Stella admitted that she had, in fact, fudged some dates on insurance forms to help patients with their claims, and was willing to face the consequences of her actions. However, when the authorities arrive at the hospital, things become a bit too real!

“Stella Henry,” one of the officers announces, “you’re under arrest.” Stella looks horrified, and Curtis stands by her side, desperate to help her. But is there anything he can do right now except call Alexis and let the attorney know that her client needs her?

The Last Straw

Blackmailing Alexis seemed to bring Ava and Ric closer together, but she was irritated by the way he kept chasing around after Liz like a lovesick puppy. And now, in Alexis’s living room, their conflict is coming to a head — right before Kristina’s eyes! “You betrayed me!” Ava shrieks, throwing up her hands.

“Yeah, well, you betrayed me first, sweetheart,” Ric responds. It almost looks as if Kristina is turning to say something to him when suddenly, Ava grabs a small, ornamental sphere and slams him in the back of the head with it! Ric goes down, hard, blood visible on the back of his head as Kristina turns to Ava, stunned. Has Ms. Jerome killed again?

A Horrible Discovery

Rocco and Danny are down at the docks when they see something floating in the water. “I think that’s a body,” Danny exclaims. We then see quick shots of a worried Nina, a shocked Alexis, a frightened Josslyn, and a furious Portia trashing her office.

Did Ava cover up her crime by dumping Ric’s body in the water? Or might the teens have discovered another victim? How will Ava keep Kristina from turning her in to the cops?
