Trading Favors
While at the Metro Court with Lulu, Laura spotted Ezra at the bar. She went over to check on him and laughed that he was drinking Shirley Temples — and reminded him that he could lean on her if need be. Returning to her table, Laura told Lulu what had happened when she rescued Ezra at the Brown Dog. Lulu felt the town deserved to know that a councilman was going off the rails, but Laura convinced her daughter to leave Ezra alone.
Ezra approached the table, offering to pay their bill as a thank you to Laura. The mayor told him he could repay the favor by supporting her next initiative, and Lulu hinted that if he didn’t, she’d do a deep dive into his patronage of the Brown Dog Bar and penchant for escorts. Ezra said there was no need for that, because Laura’s initiatives were popular with the voters, so supporting her would make him look good. After Ezra left, Laura asked about Rocco, and Lulu sighed that her son has been distant lately, upset about Danny ever since Jason was arrested. Lulu added that she’s thankful she’s had Nathan to lean on, calling him the best thing that’s happened to her in a long time.

Wild Card
In Carly’s attic, Josslyn dropped in on Valentin with questions about Anna and Faison. She shared that on the night of the blizzard, Cullum had a copy of Faison’s book, The Crystalline Conspiracy, and a pack of the villain’s cigarillos. Valentin pieced together that the WSB director was likely behind Anna’s mental breakdown. Frustrated, he blared that he had to be missing a connection because the timeline didn’t add up, since Cullum was in Port Charles when Anna was picked up in France. Completely flipping out, Valentin vowed to make Cullum pay if he’d driven Anna insane by playing on her worst fear (aka Faison).
Once Josslyn got Valentin to calm down a bit, she shared her suspicion that Nathan was also working with Sidwell — and that Faison had been behind the detective’s disappearance years ago. Since they didn’t know for sure whether Nathan was involved, Valentin urged Josslyn to keep her distance from him, reminding her that her mother was already worried enough about her. Joss then received a mysterious phone call and moved to leave.

On her way out the door, Joss snarked that she’d heard what Valentin said but wasn’t necessarily going to listen, leaving him worried that she was going down a dangerous road. Once he was alone again, Valentin called the French clinic where Anna was being treated, posing as Dr. Kevin Collins, and requested info on the patient.
A Friend Like Me
Emma and Gio caught up with Michael James Scott backstage after seeing Aladdin, and Gio offered to connect his friend with Curtis so Michael could visit Port Charles and sing at The Savoy. Later, Emma thanked Gio for helping her take her mind off of everything that’s been going on with Anna, if only for a little while and the happy couple drew even closer.

Desperate Times
Felicia arranged a meeting at the Metro Court Garden with Liesl Obrecht, who’d just returned from New Zealand. Felicia shared that she had heard from Robin that Anna’s condition was deteriorating. Explaining that Anna believed her doctors were working for Faison and that Liesl was part of the scheme, Felicia wanted Obrecht to travel to France with her to convince Anna otherwise. Liesl declined, certain that her presence would have the opposite effect and might even make Anna suspect that Felicia was working against her. Liesl commended Felicia for the effort she was making to get through to Anna and said she understood why Anna was incapacitated by her delusions, because if anyone could return from the dead, it would be Faison.
When Felicia wondered if there was any chance it was true that Faison was alive, Liesl confided that it concerned her that Anna claimed to have seen him, but she prayed for the sake of her children that Anna was wrong. Later, Josslyn caught Liesl just as she was leaving the restaurant and asked if the doctor still believed someone was impersonating Faison — possibly even her son.

Do The Right Thing
Britt summoned Cassius to her room and shocked him with the news that Rocco had confessed to her that he shot Cullum. Cassius was unmoved when Britt sighed that Rocco’s guilt was crushing him, noting that his guilty conscience would be the least of the teen’s problems if he wasn’t able to keep his mouth shut. Cassius ordered Britt to worry about the prototype while he took care of protecting Rocco, but Britt wanted assurance that her brother wouldn’t hand Rocco over at some point to score points with Cullum. Offended, Cassius spat that he’d taken Rocco out of the crime scene and made it clear to the teen and Lulu that no one could ever know the truth. Britt, however, insinuated that behavior was exactly what Cassius would do if he were planning to use Rocco for leverage. Cassius swore he didn’t want Cullum to discover that Rocco knew he was a double agent and vehemently insisted he’d protect Lulu’s son.
When Britt announced she wanted to be part of Cassius’s plan to keep Rocco safe, her brother pointed out that Cullum could use her relationship with Rocco against her, and that he and Lulu would be the ones to get Rocco through it. At that, Britt told Cassius he couldn’t keep lying to Lulu about who he was and demanded that he end things with her for Rocco’s sake. “When she finds out who you are, it is going to break you,” warned Britt. Cassius declared that he loved Lulu and would keep being “Nathan” for as long as it took to hold on to her. Britt called her brother out for not having a long-term plan and warned him that the truth would eventually come out. “If you really love Lulu, you need to end it,” said Britt. “Now.”
