General Hospital Recap: Lulu And Dante Come Clean With Rocco And Sasha Finds Daisy Missing!
The fireworks in the sky celebrating the Fourth of July weren’t the only explosions in the July 7 episode of General Hospital! Rocco (Finn Carr) confronted Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) about the day he was born, leading to Lulu blasting Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) for digging up dirt on her son, and Sasha (Sofia Mattson) freaked out when baby Daisy went missing! Keep on reading to see how it all played out.
The Lost Boy

Confused and rattled after finding two birth certificates in Brook Lynn’s file on him, Rocco confronted his mother about his connection to Dr. Britt Westbourne. “Is it true you didn’t give birth to me — she did?” the bewildered teen implored. Stunned by the question, Lulu picked up her phone to call Dante. As Rocco wondered if the truth was so bad that she needed to wait for his father to tell him, Lulu gently clarified that it was important he hear the answer from them both.
Once Dante arrived at Lulu’s house, she took a fortifying breath and informed her ex that their son had questions about Britt. Then, Rocco told the people who raised him that he’d found two birth certificates: one listing them as his parents and the other for a child named Ben with Britt named as the birth mother. “Am I Ben?” Rocco grilled his mom and dad, a note of panic in his voice. “Did that woman give birth to me?”
Knowing that they could no longer put off telling their son about the complicated situation, Dante and Lulu finally told their son that yes, Britt had birthed him, though he was genetically their biological child. Rocco was upset and shocked that his parents kept such a huge secret from him. Lulu insisted that when Rocco Rocco was a baby, they’d made a plan to tell him once he got older. Dante added that he never followed through after Lulu was in a coma because it felt strange to tell Rocco the whole story without his mom there.
A Complicated Start

Despite his parents’ assurance that how he entered the world doesn’t change how much they love him, Rocco couldn’t help but view his parents as hypocrites. “How could you both be so mad at Brook Lynn for keeping Gio a secret, and she didn’t even know the Gio piece! When you’ve been keeping this from me, knowing all of it!” he exclaimed, full of hurt.
The difference, Lulu stated, is that she and Dante always planned to tell Rocco, but life got in the way. Laying all the cards out on the table, the Falconeris finally told their son the full story of his conception and birth, starting with their IVF journey and how, after trying to use his Aunt Maxie as a surrogate didn’t work out, they put their plans on hold. Then, Dante detailed, Britt stole one of their embryos, carrying the baby to term without their knowledge or consent. “That embryo,” shared a teary Lulu, “was you.”
Realization hit Rocco as he jumped up, putting physical distance between him and his parents. “Britt might have done this messed-up thing, but if she hadn’t stolen me, would I even have been born?” he demanded. “I mean, you just said you put things on hold. You might have never used those embryos.” Then, the teen lodged a shot that gutted his parents: “You guys didn’t really want me.”
Not true, said Lulu; they wanted him more than anything. Learning that he was seven months old by the time his parents figured out what had happened, Rocco marveled that it was weird to think that another person was his mom. That thought got Lulu all riled up as she ranted that Britt broke the law and violated medical oaths to take Rocco from them. “I’m not technically from you,” Rocco argued. “It’s not like I was yours and then I wasn’t. You only got stuck with me after the fact.”
Reassuring their son that couldn’t be further from the truth, Dante and Lulu described how desperate they were to have a family, and that no matter how he came into this world, he was conceived out of the love they shared.
“Part of me wishes Danny never found that file,” Rocco sighed, informing his parents how they’d stumbled upon the folder amidst a stack of Brook Lynn’s Deception work. Lulu did her best to stay calm as she and Dante finished the conversation with their son, but once Rocco headed upstairs to his room to digest everything that had been dumped on him, she angrily declared that she had to run an errand. Dante, however, knew exactly where his ex was headed and tried to talk her out of tracking down Brook Lynn. “She came for our son, Dante,” Lulu spat. “Not on my watch.”
A little while later, Rocco came back downstairs and found Dante on the porch watching the fireworks… but not his mom. As father and son watched the rest of the display together, Rocco worried that his parents blamed Danny for how he learned the truth, but Dante assured him that his honorary stepbrother wasn’t the one responsible.
Fears Unlocked

At the Quartermaines, Sasha and Cody rehashed the details of the fire at Charlie’s, and the new mom’s fears about Daisy’s safety deepened, given that being a Corinthos leaves her vulnerable to danger. Cody later had an awkward run-in with Brook Lynn at the boathouse dock after not speaking for several weeks, but the old friends cleared the air about why she never let him know that she’d gone through with her pregnancy all those years ago, and his part in helping Lulu expose her secret.
After sharing a sweet moment while putting Daisy to bed, Michael and Sasha joined Cody and Brook Lynn at the boathouse to watch the fireworks. It wasn’t long before Sasha heard her daughter crying over the baby monitor and headed back to the house to check on Daisy. But when she got to the nursery, the crib was empty!

The Slap Heard Around Port Charles
Alone at the boathouse, Brook Lynn was soaking up the last of the fireworks display when a steaming-mad Lulu stomped up onto the dock, catching her off guard. “You hateful bitch! I know you hate me, but hurting Rocco? That is unforgivable,” Lulu bellowed before she reared back and slapped her rival, returning the hit she received from Brook Lynn a few weeks ago!

Do you think Lulu was wrong for going after Brook Lynn? Do you believe that Daisy was kidnapped or did someone who lives at the Quartermaines’ just take the crying baby? Let us know what you think will happen next on GH in the comments below!
