General Hospital Recap: Jason Takes Aim at Cullum, Marco Snags Britt’s Medication and More
The Thursday, March 19, episode of General Hospital was full of intense moments! Ava (Maura West) tried to warn Lucas (Van Hansis) about Carly (Laura Wright), Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) romantic morning was interrupted, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Tracy (Jane Elliot) butted heads, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) needed a favor from Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) while Marco (Adrian Anchondo) came through on getting her medication, and Jason (Steve Burton) made moves to eliminate Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). Check out the recap below for the details.
Unspoken Truths
Carly was flashing back to her fight with Josslyn when Jack knocked on her back door. Telling him about her heated argument with Josslyn over Sonny, Carly wondered how someone like her daughter could bring a criminal like Sonny to justice. Jack said he hoped she didn’t blame herself for the way Josslyn felt, and a sorrowful Carly went on about how she’d justified and rationalized Sonny’s behavior, placing her children in danger.
Carly declared that when people aren’t who you think they are, it’s probably because they aren’t being honest — and that wasn’t real love. Jack replied that he hated his job required him to keep things from her, and while he was aware he wasn’t enough of a partner for her, he loved her. To that, Carly suggested that sometimes loving someone meant risking being honest, and asked Jack if he loved her enough to do that. Before Jack could answer her, his phone buzzed, and when he pulled it out to look at the screen, a teary Carly told him he should leave.

Package Secured
At his office, Lucas messaged Britt to say that he hoped today would be the day he got her medication. Then, Ava surprised him with coffee, wanting to chat about Carly’s sudden change in attitude about Marco. Ava claimed she was worried that Carly was trying to create a situation where Lucas would have to choose between his sister and his boyfriend. Insisting that he had no intention of letting Carly break up him and Marco, Lucas added that his relationship with Marco grows every day and he’s never been happier. After his aunt left, Lucas quickly grabbed his phone, but was disappointed there was no update from Marco.
Meanwhile, over at Wyndemere, Pascal informed Sidwell that Britt would be by later for her injection. Pascal again brought up his concerns about Lucas to his boss, but Sidwell accused the butler of being jealous because he had a crush on Marco. They were interrupted when Marco entered the study with contracts for his father to sign, so Sidwell dismissed Pascal. Sidwell thanked his son for sticking around, despite how long it is taking to avenge Natalia’s death and the strain living at Wyndemere has put on Marco and Lucas’s relationship. Once they were done, Sidwell headed to the mainland to meet Ava, and Marco was able to snatch two vials of Britt’s medication out of the safe.

Gun For Hire
While packing to leave town, Britt received Lucas’s text message. Then Josslyn showed up at her window and, noticing Britt’s suitcase, demanded to know if Cullum was moving her. At the mention of the WSB director’s name, Britt played dumb, but Josslyn revealed that she knew Cullum was a double agent involved in the project Britt was working on. Joss said she needed to make sure that Britt didn’t let it slip that she was an agent because that would destroy her mother. Britt scoffed that while she’d been forced into the situation on the brink of death, Josslyn knew she’d be putting her life on the line when she willingly joined the bureau, yet was now asking Britt to protect her for her mother’s sake. Despite that, Britt wanted Cullum stopped — and agreed to keep her mouth shut if Josslyn could make that happen.
Before leaving, Josslyn asked if Cullum knew Faison, telling Britt that while she’d been with the director at Wyndemere the night of the blizzard, he had a copy of The Crystalline Conspiracy by PK Sinclair and an open pack of cigarillos in his jacket pocket. Not knowing why Cullum had those items, Britt insisted that her father was dead, and all that was left of him was his brain in a jar, four kids, and her Huntington’s disease. Josslyn then left Britt to finish packing, telling her to stay safe.
Across town, Jason went to his storage unit. Opening up a gun case, he flashed back to the promise he made to Britt, then began piecing together the rifle. He also recalled his conversation with Tracy about the ups and downs in his relationship with Monica, his goodbye to Carly, and her promise to be there for Danny while he was gone. Jason also remembered the day he vowed to Carly that if she happened to die because of her relationship with Jack Brennan, he’d kill him. Putting the gun in a bag, Jason locked up his storage unit and left.

Back To Reality
After spending the night together, a shirtless Nathan served Lulu breakfast, but before they refueled, he took her upstairs for another round of lovemaking. Returning downstairs, they enjoyed breakfast and flirty banter until Cullum arrived at the house. After exchanging introductions with Nathan, Cullum asked to speak with Charlotte, but Lulu shut him down since Agent Brennan had already interrogated her daughter. Pressing the issue, Cullum said he had questions of his own, leading a frustrated Lulu to declare that her daughter has not been in contact with her father.

Jumping in, Nathan added that he’s been part of the almost-constant surveillance on Charlotte and confirmed there’s been no sign she’s had contact with Valentin. Thanking them for the information, Cullum moved to leave, stating that they may or may not hear from him again, and Lulu snarked back that she may or may not answer the door. Once they were alone again, Lulu tried to return to the playful mood of earlier, but Nathan reluctantly said, even though he’d had a great time with her, it was time to return to the real world. When Lulu asked if they’d see each other again, Nathan declared that it was only the beginning for them.
Family Planning
Tracy invited Alexis to meet her at the Metro Court restaurant to talk about Danny’s guardianship. She questioned how it would work to have Danny live with Alexis if he wasn’t allowed near Scout, so Alexis filled her in that Willow had dropped the restraining order. As the women traded jabs about each other’s questionable parenting and whose home Danny would be better off living in, Tracy received numerous text messages from Olivia about an urgent family meeting, which she ignored. In the end, Alexis declared that their bickering was pointless because Jason was speaking with Diane about his plans for his son, and if Danny needed a guardian at some point, they’d have to accept Jason’s wishes.
Across the restaurant, Ava met up with Jenz and shared her concern that Carly was manipulating him, Lucas, and Marco. Jenz assured her that his eyes were wide open, but Ava insisted that Carly was trying to break up Marco and Lucas. Just then, Carly exited the elevator. Approaching their table, Carly made plans with Jenz to hold the dinner party for Marco and Lucas that Friday.

Locked And Loaded
Back at Wyndemere, Pascal opened up the safe and found vials missing. Calling Cullum, Pascal confirmed that the medication had been fully restocked. When the butler blamed Lucas for the missing vials, Cullum vowed to handle it. Opposite this, Lucas grew increasingly more antsy that Marco wasn’t returning his texts, so he was relieved when his boyfriend burst into his office. Presenting the two vials, Marco told Lucas to get them to Britt ASAP because it was only a matter of time before someone figured out they were missing. Then, noticing Lucas seemed worried, Marco reassured him that his father would protect him.
Over at the WSB office, Cullum blasted Jack for botching the Five Poppies investigation and declared that a resolution was needed, now. Unbeknownst to the agents, Jason was perched in an outdoor stairwell, prepared to assassinate Cullum. But when Jack walked into the rifle’s scope, Jason hesitated.

Should Jason shoot Jack instead of Cullum? Will something (or someone) else come between Nathan and Lulu? Is Lucas going to get the medication to Britt in time? Share your predictions about what will happen next on GH in the comments below!
