General Hospital Recap: Carly, Nina and Valentin Face Off!
On General Hospital on Tuesday, June 2, schemes were put into place and a desperate warning was issued. Nina (Cynthia Watros) delivered an urgent message to Carly (Laura Wright) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) on behalf of Jack (Chris McKenna), Michael (Rory Gibson) and Jacinda (Paige Herschell) made the first move in their plan to drive Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Chase (Josh Swickard) into an affair, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) made a confession to Lulu (Alexa Havins), Lucas (Van Hansis) reported his “suspicions” about Pascal (Marc Forget) to Joe (Jonathan Bennett), and Sidwell (Carlo Rota) received bad news. Here’s what happened!
Sending Out An SOS
Cullum visited Jack at Turning Woods and demanded the combination to the black box safe in the office, convinced that Brennan had helped Britt escape and was hiding the info. Not letting on to Cullum that he could speak, Jack refused to cooperate by blinking “no.” Although Cullum debated pinching Jack’s IV line, he declared he’d return later and expected Jack to be more forthcoming, implying that if Jack still didn’t cooperate, there would be deadly consequences.

Three’s a Crowd
Nina showed up at Carly’s, demanding to see Valentin. Carly denied his presence and attempted to turn her away, but Valentin revealed himself to his ex-wife. After dropping a few jabs about Carly and Valentin playing house — and letting them know that she was aware they were sleeping together — Nina informed them that Jack had been transferred to Turning Woods, and he was awake and wanted to see Valentin. Carly and Valentin thought it was a WSB trap, but when Nina relayed the message “ex machina” from Jack, Valentin recognized the term and told Carly they were in bigger trouble than he thought. Before leaving, Nina told Valentin that he could have come to her for help instead of Carly and warned that it was going to be his funeral if he didn’t meet with Jack.
Carly offered to go to Turning Woods so Valentin wouldn’t get caught and she could ask him about where he was hiding Josslyn, but he insisted that he had to go. Considering how much Jack hated him, it had to be important if Brennan had summoned him by invoking “ex machina.” In the end, Carly helped Valentin sneak into the facility disguised as an orderly so they could meet with Jack together.

When Push Comes To Shove
Determined to push Willow and Chase together, Michael invited Willow to the mansion under the ruse of discussing swapping Fourth of July weekend with the kids, while, at the boathouse, Jacinda dropped pricey sunglasses into the lake so Chase would fish them out for her. After a civilized conversation about their visitation switch, Michael sent Willow down to the boathouse to fetch Wiley’s glove (which he pretended to have accidentally left there) and texted an alert to Jacinda. After retrieving the glove, Willow literally bumped into Chase, who was wet and shirtless after getting out of the water, while Jacinda watched them through the window. Next, Chase invited Willow to join him for a swim, and despite Brook Lynn’s warning to steer clear of Chase, Willow agreed. Following their dip in the lake, Chase and Willow reminisced about their past, and when she scooted closer to pull a leaf out of Chase’s hair, they shared a charged moment.

Back at the main house, Jacinda and Michael toasted to the success of the first step in their mission, even though Jacinda had concerns about how their plan to push Chase and Willow together would break Brook Lynn’s heart. Michael again insisted he didn’t want to hurt his cousin, but Brook Lynn would be better off without Chase. If he and Jacinda kept manufacturing moments between Willow and Chase, Michael mused, old feelings would resurface, and they’d cross a line.
Planting Seeds
At the PCPD, Lulu walked in on Elizabeth and Dante discussing Rocco and Britt in the interrogation room. She thanked Liz for trying to prevent Britt from leaving town with Rocco. Elizabeth and Dante then explained to Lulu how Liz came to realize that Rocco’s injury wasn’t a knife cut but a slide bite, and that’s how Dante pieced together that Rocco was the one who shot Cullum. At first, Lulu was annoyed that Dante and Liz had kept information from her, which is exactly what he’d been mad at her for doing with Nathan, but eventually she recognized that Liz had Rocco’s best interests in mind and was only trying to protect him. Liz noted that she would have done the same thing for Lulu had she been the one to approach with concerns about Rocco, and Lulu agreed that Elizabeth had done the right thing.

Meanwhile, Lucas put on a show for Det. Fitzpatrick, claiming that he suspected Pascal murdered Marco. Joe didn’t think there was enough evidence to warrant an investigation of Pascal, so Lucas demanded to speak with Commissioner Falconeri. After Lucas pleaded his case, Dante sent Joe to Wyndemere to question Pascal about Marco’s murder. Dante warned Lucas that the lead with Pascal was thin, but Lucas implored him to investigate because it was the only way he’d get justice for Marco.
Full House
Tracy, Brook Lynn, and Lucy (whose arm was in a sling from a pole-dancing accident) arrived at Wyndemere for a meeting with Sidwell, who privately instructed Pascal to fetch him when there was word from Cullum. Tracy and Brook Lynn accused Sidwell of using Deception as a cover for his illicit business dealings and warned him that if he didn’t divest from the company, they would self-report to the SCC and force a whistleblower audit. Lucy waffled on how far she was willing to go against Jenz, but ultimately stood beside her business partners. Calling their threat a trumped-up bluff, an angry Sidwell claimed that there would be no Deception without him.

Pascal interrupted the meeting to pull Jenz back into the foyer, where Cullum was waiting for him. As Pascal served the women tea, Cullum informed Sidwell that there was zero trace of Britt. Sidwell worried about how they would move forward with the project without Britt’s expertise, so Cullum suggested they find a replacement. But before Cullum could share who he had in mind, there was a knock on the door. As Cullum quickly hid, Jenz opened the door and Det. Fitzpatrick introduced himself, blindsiding Sidwell and Pascal by announcing that he was there to question the butler about Marco’s murder.
