General Hospital Recap: Carly and Valentin Find Jack’s Dead Body and Heather Webber Returns!
The Friday, October 30, episode of General Hospital was full of tricks and treats! Carly (Laura Wright) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) made a gruesome discovery, Trina (Tabyana Ali) came face to face with Heather Webber (Alley Mills), Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was rattled by her encounter with Jude (Wil Traval), Josslyn (Eden McCoy) agreed to help Jason (Steve Burton) dig up dirt on her cousin, and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) admitted to having the impulse to kiss Dante (Dominic Zamprogna)! The Devil You Know
Trina got to the Cat’s Eye to find the lounge empty and another bouquet of roses with a creepy card from her “biggest fan.” Kai, Gio, and Emma arrived, and the club manager explained that one person had bought out the entire club for the night.
Assuming that the sole patron was Trina’s “biggest fan,” Trina and Emma explained everything they’d discovered to the guys, and the group decided to confront Trina’s stalker together. Emma and Kai anxiously kept looking at the door while Trina and Gio performed. Then, once the song was over, Trina was speechless when Heather Webber entered the club, cheering for an encore!
Father Knows Best
Jude asked Alexis to help him get his daughter back from the Quartermaines. The confused attorney argued that the adoption was legal because Phoebe’s biological father had signed away his parental rights. Jude explained that Delilah had agreed to have his baby — and he had the IVF paperwork to back up his claim. However, Delilah had then disappeared with Ethan Lovett.
Confident that Ethan had switched the paternity test results, Jude wanted to take one himself to prove his connection to Phoebe.
Alexis asked Jude not to take Phoebe away from Brook Lynn and Chase, but he was determined to fight for his daughter. As he left Miller & Davis, Jude casually mentioned that his father said hi, leaving Alexis rattled.
Bad Seed
Jason asked Josslyn about Jude, who’d arrived at the mansion declaring himself to be Phoebe’s father. Josslyn had never met Jude, but Jax had warned her to stay away from her cousin because he wasn’t trustworthy. Josslyn decided to dig into Jude’s past, and Jason vowed to make sure he stayed away from Phoebe.
Sweet Spot
Elizabeth and Dante pulled back from their charged moment and carried on as if nothing had happened, but sparks flew again when he handed her a cupcake. Lucas arrived as Dante was on his way out and immediately picked up on the sexual tension between Liz and Dante.
Once alone, Lucas pressed Liz about what happened just happened between her and Dante. Liz admitted they’d shared a close moment while baking, and she’d wanted to kiss him even though she was happy with Ric.
While Liz was positive Dante hadn’t picked up on her impulse, Lucas wasn’t so sure. Later, Ric arrived to help hand out candy to trick-or-treaters, and Liz welcomed him with a huge kiss.
Body of Evidence
Earlier, at Café Cherie, Ric broke the bad news to Lulu that Alexis wasn’t going to try to persuade Monet to get Willow to drop the case. Since they were headed to trial, Ric instructed Lulu to get her other sources to corroborate Sidwell’s allegations. He warned her to prepare for the worst.
Later, Dante met up with his ex-wife. He asked Lulu to consider how a trial would affect Elizabeth and Lucas and retract the article, but Lulu declined. Then, as she was leaving the restaurant, she pointed out the frosting on Dante’s sleeve, prompting him to think about the close moment he’d had with Elizabeth.
Body of Evidence
At the Quartermaine mansion, Caly and Valentin questioned Danny about being at the Metro Court with Charlotte the night Jack disappeared. Nervously, Danny revealed that after seeing Carly and Valentin breaking into Drew’s office, he and Charlotte found Jack Brennan’s dead body floating in the pool.
Danny added that they almost ran into Ava and Drew on their way out of the hotel, confirming Carly and Valentin’s suspicions that Ava was somehow involved in Jack’s disappearance.
Carly and Valentin pressed that it was important Danny didn’t tell anyone what he saw. Then, Outback returned from digging around in the nature preserve and stunned the trio when she dropped a human finger on the carpet!
As Danny cleaned up the dog, he prayed that the finger didn’t belong to Brennan. Meanwhile, Carly and Valentin went to explore the nature preserve. She noted that Outback had been sneaking there since the end of August — which is when Jack went missing. Valentin picked up on an odor that he said smelled like death. Carly then tripped over a rock and literally landed next to a decomposing four-fingered male hand!
