General Hospital: Does Delilah’s Tattoo Link Her With the Dawn of Day Cult?

Comments

As soon as Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) discovered the pregnant Delilah (Lily Cardone) lying in the street on General Hospital, fans immediately suspected that the couple — who have decided they want to adopt a baby — would wind up with the child. However, during a scene in the March 3 episode, a mysterious tattoo was seen on Delilah’s left wrist that sparked intense speculation among viewers. Some even wondered if it could possibly be tied to the Dawn of Day cult, which was recently brought up during Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial, as she used to be a member.

Cult of Personality

Back in 2018, a young woman named Daisy (Kelsey Wang) persuaded Kristina (then-Lexi Ainsworth) to join Dawn of Day, which was pitched as a self-help group. But as Kristina was drawn deeper and deeper into the organization and decided to move into the Dawn of Day house, her sister, Sam (Kelly Monaco), grew concerned. She and Jason (Steve Burton) checked out the group and its leader, Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), discovering his real name was David Henry Archer and he was the son of a man that Sam had been married to during her con-woman days.

Sam went undercover at Dawn of Day to get more information and noticed a tattoo on Daisy’s lower back that she clearly didn’t want to discuss. It was also revealed that schoolteacher Willow had been a member, and Shiloh had been the father of the baby she’d lost. Sam and Jason learned that Shiloh would seduce his female followers and drug them into having sex with him after they received their tattoos. Eventually, Shiloh was arrested for his crimes, but escaped the prison van and attacked Sam. Jason came to her rescue, but it was Sam who ultimately ended Shiloh’s life by shooting him in the back with a flare gun and knocking him off The Haunted Star into the water.

In December 2025, the Dawn of Day cult was mentioned in court when Willow was on trial for shooting Drew (Cameron Mathison). On the stand, Kristina (Kate Mansi) testified that she and Willow had both received weapons training when they were part of the inner circle. Though, as Willow had left the group before Kristina joined, she never actually saw her holding a gun.

As seen in the image below, the design on Delilah’s wrist is not the same as the Dawn of Day tattoos given to the female members. However, given that viewers were treated to a lingering close-up of the wrist tattoo as Brook Lynn held Delilah’s hand in the hospital, it’s clearly important. Could it be the mark of a different cult? Or a clue to uncovering Delilah’s true identity and why she was so reluctant to answer questions about herself? Share your theories in the comments below!
