Comings and Goings: The Latest Cast Changes As Of April 28

Nicholas Chavez (l.) books a new role, soap alum Michael Dietz (c.) debuts on DAYS and Max Gail visits GH.
Who’s Coming
Beyond The Gates
Aleq Bay (Jim Price): Bay made his BTG debut last week as Jim, the talent promoter who met with Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon (Clifton Davis). The actor enthused on Instagram, “Oh man, to share the screen with the incomparable @msttunie and the legend @thecliftondavis was nothing short of incredible. I literally have no words to adequately describe the experience. They are power houses, yet just as humble, gracious and kind. They are truly beautiful people and I’m grateful I got to play in their sandbox. Thank you @beyondthegatescbs for trusting me with Jim Price.”
Karan Kendrick (Mona Wilson): The character will be on hand for Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) and Ted’s (Maurice Johnson) anniversary party — which means will be there when Kat (Colby Muhammad) sees her family fall apart in front of her eyes.
Bold and Beautiful
Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair Williams): The Forrester fashion show continues this week, and Bell’s B&B crossover continues with it.
Ashleigh Brewer (Ivy Forrester): Ivy is part of the action again this week.
Delon de Metz (Zende Forrester Dominguez): Katie (Heather Tom) overhears a very telling conversation between Zende and Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) this week.
Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan Forrester): Eric’s (John McCook) better half appears this week.
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt (Themselves): The reality TV icons and TikTok stars continue this week, as well. See what Pratt had to say about his experience shooting his soap debut here.
Markell Washington (Himself): Social media influencer Washington will also be seen again this week in conjunction with the fashion show.
Days of our Lives
Maggie Carney (Rita Lesley): EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) trusted assistant will be helping her boss once again when he gives her an assignment.
Michael Dietz (Dr. Jeffrey Russell): It was announced months ago that the alum of B&B (ex-Mark Maclaine), Port Charles (ex-Joe Scanlon), Guiding Light (ex-Alan-Michael Spaulding) and Passions (ex-Jake) would be appearing on the show, and now the time has come for him to debut. Look for Dietz’s doctor character to hold the key to helping Bo (Peter Reckell) survive his latest health battle and for Jeffrey to share scenes with Bo’s sister, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans).
In recent years, Dietz has put acting on the back burner as his career as a producer of reality television has taken off (he’s served as co-executive producer of shows like House of Villains and Love Island USA), but he told TV Insider that his stint in Salem has reinvigorated his interest in performing on soaps. “I could see doing it if stuff like this came up every now and then,” he shared. “Before DAYS, I would have said no. I felt like I had closed that chapter and moved on. But then I had that experience, and I was like, ‘Oh, there’s no reason I have to close this. This is fantastic.’ So, I would definitely have a conversation, and I am 100 percent open now to explore possibilities that come up in this space again.”
Kennedy Garcia (Felicity Greene): Look for Cat’s (AnnaLynne McCord) younger sister to interact with her and Chad (Billy Flynn) when the three hang out together in Horton Town Square. Felicity will also get to see her favorite pastry chef, Chanel (Raven Bowens).
Stacy Haiduk (Susan Banks): EJ’s quirky mother, who is also Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) grandmother, will continue her Salem stay this week as EJ continues his road to recovery after having been shot.
Shi Ne Nielson (Amy Choi): Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd) mom is back this week as Sophia grows agitated with her mother.
General Hospital
Asher Antonyzyn (Danny Morgan): Danny spends some quality time with Rocco (Finn Carr) this week.
Finn Carr (Rocco Falconeri): Expect Rocco’s life to take a turn toward the dramatic this week.
Bryce Durfee (Agent Vaughn): Josslyn (Eden McCoy) will clash with her WSB handler this week as Vaughn questions Joss’s ability to do her job.
Stephen Ellis (Josh): Look for Ellis’s character to appear on Thursday, May 1 as part of Kai’s (Jens Austin Astrup) surgery storyline — he’s the documentary filmmaker chronicling Kai’s medical journey.
Max Gail (Mike Corbin): The Daytime Emmy-winner is back in the Port Charles mix — sort of — when Mike appears to his son, Sonny (Maurice Benard) as he recovers from cardiac surgery in Los Angeles. Gail assumed the role in 2018 (the late Ron Hale was Mike’s original portrayer) and played him until Mike passed away from Alzheimer’s in 2020. Gail has returned to play Mike in spirit form in 2021, when he ushered Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) son, Liam, to heaven.
Daniel Goddard (Professor Henry Dalton): Joss and Emma’s (Braedyn Bruner) mysterious instructor continues this week.
Paige Herschell (Jacinda): Herschell’s short-term role continues this week as Jacinda plays a major role in Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Portia’s (Brook Kerr) revenge plot against Drew (Cameron Mathison).
Jen Ray (Suzanne): Ray continues this week as Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) assistant. The actress, who previously appeared on the show as psychic medium Chelsea, enthused on Instagram the day of Suzanne’s on-screen debut, “Guess who is coming back to Port Charles? Today, Suzanne enters the world of General Hospital! A huge shout out goes to Frank Valentini and Nathan Varni and all those at GH that brought me back! And of course, thank you to the incredible casting directors Mark Teschner & Lisa Booth! I adore you all!!! I am thrilled to be working on one of my favorite shows! And thank you to Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) and Carlo Rota (Sidwell) for making me feel so welcome in my first episode!”
Parry Shen (Brad Cooper): The lab tech will be seen interacting with Portia this week as he lets her know exactly what he thinks of their current arrangement.
Stephen A. Smith (Brick): The character will be alerting Carly (Laura Wright) that there is a situation brewing with Sonny (Maurice Benard).
Young and Restless
Judah Mackey (Connor Newman): Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) son will pop up at Crimson Lights.
Redding Munsell (Harrison Abbott): Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Allison Lanier) will be spending some time with their son this week.
The Play’s The Thing
GH alum Nicholas Chavez’s (ex-Spencer Cassadine) star continues to rise: The actor is set to star in Tennessee Williams’s Camino Real at the prestigious Williamstown Theatre Festival alongside Pamela Anderson, One Life to Live alum Florencia Lozano (ex-Téa Delgado) and Socorro Santiago (ex-Isabella Santos, All My Children. The play will run Sunday, July 19 through Sunday, August 3 on the MainStage. (For tickets and more information, click here.)
