Bold and Beautiful Spoilers Video: ‘Tell Liam the Truth About His Brain Cancer’
The Bold and Beautiful spoilers video preview for the week of August 4 shows Finn (Tanner Novlan) taking charge to uncover exactly what Grace (Cassandra Creech) really did to Liam (Scott Clifton), Li (Naomi Matsuda) determined to bring Luna (Lisa Yamada) back, and Eric (John McCook) urging Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to take action with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) before he loses her to Nick (Jack Wagner)… but is it already too late?
Confession Is Good for the Soul
Like everyone else, Finn was relieved to learn that Liam’s inoperable brain tumor was able to be removed via an experimental surgery. But when the MRI scans showed absolutely no trace of the cancer left, he began to suspect this was too good to be true and started to investigate, determined to figure out exactly what happened. Knowing that Grace, the doctor who both diagnosed Liam’s fatal tumor and proposed the special procedure to remove it, was the key, he confronts her.
With her back up against the wall, Grace comes clean and pleads, “We can keep this between us.” Stunned, Finn is aghast that a fellow physician would ask him to lie to a patient. “Are you really asking me to protect you?” he angrily responds.
In the end, Finn forces Grace to come with him to see Liam, where she can reveal the whole truth straight to her patient’s face. With Hope visiting, Liam is surprised to see Dr. Buckingham. “Tell Liam the truth about his brain cancer,” Finn orders. “Go ahead, Grace.” Liam’s eyes widen as he prepares for the worst, not knowing exactly what she’s about to confess.
Secret Patient
As far as everyone is concerned, Luna is dead and gone, but Li is secretly keeping her granddaughter alive at home — just as she did with her son, Finn, years ago. “Hold on, Luna,” the doctor says gently as she strokes the girl’s hair as she lies unconscious in the bed. “I won’t let this be the end of you.”
Of course, while Finn’s family and friends were thrilled to learn that Finn hadn’t actually died after being shot by Sheila, when the truth comes out that Luna is still among the living, the reaction will likely be much less enthusiastic. And given Sheila’s determination to mourn her granddaughter, and her pressuring Li for details, it could mean the truth will be coming out sooner rather than later!
Last Chance
Eric was already annoyed at Nick pursuing Brooke again, even following her and the Forrester Creation team to Italy. But once he saw that the guy had an engagement ring, Eric urged Ridge to cut his brother off at the pass. “I saw a ring,” the Forrester patriarch informs his son. “I think he’s gonna propose.”
By the docks, Ridge runs up only to see Nick pulling away in a boat with Brooke reclining on the back. “Logan!” he calls out, shouting into the wind and drowned out by the horn. Brooke looks delighted and smiles up at Nick as he drives them out onto the ocean for a romantic cruise. But on shore, Ridge looks frustrated. Has he decided that he still loves Brooke and wants her back? Or does he just not want Nick to have her? And is there any way to stop the proposal now?
