Beyond the Gates Spoilers Video: ‘This Could Really Change Everything’
The Beyond the Gates spoilers video for the week of January 12 previews romance, danger, and mystery! First, Vernon (Clifton Davis) and Anita (Tamara Tunie) stop by Dani’s (Karla Mosley) home to check on their daughter. “She may not be dressed yet!” Andre (Sean Freeman) calls out to the other room to warn his wife. Heading into the bedroom, Anita turns and snarks, “I brought that child into this world. You think I haven’t seen her naked behind?”
Dangerous Games
Out for a date with co-worker Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso), Ashley (Jen Jacob) decides to turn up the heat. “You know how some people can tie a knot in a cherry stem with their tongues?” she asks provocatively. Grayson wonders, “Right here? Now?” Leaning in, Ashley suggests, “My apartment.”
Sitting with Bill (Timon Kyle Durett) in his office, Hayley (Marquita Goings) extends a mug and cheerfully offers, “Have some tea.” But he just sits back in his chair and shakes his head. “I’m not gonna drink any more of your poison,” he responds. But is that just a turn of phrase or a daydream of Hayley’s, or has Bill actually caught on to his wife’s sinister scheme?
At the hospital, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) approaches the nurses’ station and remarks to Ashley, “I’ve gotten blood work done more times than I can count, but this time… this could really change everything.” We then see her receiving a warm embrace from her sister, Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla).
Leslie (Tricia Mann-Grant) has convinced Joey (Jon Lindstrom) to help fund her free clinic, but her prickly personality could bring their deal to an end before it’s even begun. “I know all about Nessa,” she says with a grin. Coldly, Joey retorts, “I’ve had people killed for making comments like that.” He then grabs his coat and stalks out of the room as Leslie just smiles after him.
We next see the mobster paying a visit to Bill. “Why are you here?” the attorney wonders. Joey admits, “It’s complicated,” which leaves Bill more than a little intrigued. “This actually might be a little more fun than I thought,” he smiles.
Leslie is also continuing to play games with Marcel (Darryl W. Handy). As he holds a bottle in the bedroom, she holds a gun. “You’ve got a lot to learn about Miss Leslie,” the schemer informs the detective as she steps past him and confidently aims the pistol.
