As part of Y&R’s 45th anniversary week celebration, which will kick off on March 26, David Scott Lago (ex-Raul) and Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac) are headed back to the No. 1 soap. Both characters have a direct connection to J.T.: Lago first played the role of J.T.’s pal from 1999-2004, then again in 2009; Kruger (who most recently played B&B’s Eva) was on the scene from 2002-03, and Mac is J.T.’s ex. When he recently returned to the soap, Thad Luckinbill (J.T.) noted that he felt a touch of nostalgia for his early days on the show, “I called David, who I spent a lot of those early years acting with, and he also has just always been a great friend,” the actor told Digest. “He and I haven’t talked in a while, and literally, after the first week I called him and said, ‘Normally, I would have called you and talked through this kind of stuff.’ ” The duo joins Jaime Lyn Bauer (ex-Lorie), Janice Lynde (ex-Leslie) and Meg Bennett (ex-Julia), whose returns were announced yesterday.
