As far as Y&R is concerned, Billy Miller's decision to exit his Emmy-winning role of Billy Abbott this August is not a done deal. "Very frankly, we're not giving up on Billy Miller," affirms Co-Head Writer Scott Hamner.
Billy Miller has brought a wonderful dimension to this character and his relationship with Victoria is just what the show needed to really stick it to Victor and his control obsession. I want this couple to be like the Tom and Alice Horton of Days of our Lives and go on forever and show everyone what a real marriage is all about. It would be so refreshing to have " Billy the bad boy" as the new "Father knows Best" and only Billy Miller has the right stuff (attitude and moxy) to do this. Please do all you can to make him stay, CBS bigwigs....you need him desperately.

Y&R has kind of lost a lot of class since the last couple of storylines like Sharon & Adam, Billy is one of the few good men left around and if he leaves it will be another nail in the coffin for a show that is failing their viewers already!

I like Billy Miller but I think that if he wants to leave for greener pastures I am all for him growing. The role of Billy Abbot has fizzled when he was paired with Victoria. He is not as interesting as before. If he stays I do not know anyone on the show that he could be paired with to make me like him as well as I did when he first came on.
I do not think that they should have baby Lucy. That child is Phyllis grand child and she should have every right to her real family and not given to the whims of a couple just because they want a baby. Let them buy another baby but not this child.
You are crazy! Billy is way more interesting and has more depth with Victoria. I think they have great chemistry and can't see either one with anyone else. To be fair, Billy went to a lawyer for advice on how to expedite an adoption and that is where he ended up. She practically fell in his lap. How in the world do Movie Stars go about avoiding red-tape and getting the fast track adoptions? $$$ They haven't been abusive or neglectful. Phyllis is letting her crazy-it's-all-about-me spots come out. She didn't care what she was doing to Daniel, or Daniel Romallati back in the day. She just wanted to hook a rich man and reek havoc. Aside from my difference in opinion with you, I agree that if he has an opportunity he should take it, it would just make me sad to lose such a great actor.

It seems to me tha Phyllis getting in to the middle of the baby situation is not common sense - if she "really" wants her son to be happy and if she wants what is best for Lucy.

The younger viewers are very drawn to this lovable bad boy turned good.
