GH’s Laura Wright Gets Personal

In a candid new interview in the issue of Soap Opera Digest on sale now, Laura Wright (Carly, GH) opens up about the emotional fall-out from her divorce — and the experience of falling in love again with beau Wes Ramsey (ex-Sam, GUIDING LIGHT et al). “It’s a very interesting process, you know, to be in your 40s, getting divorced, being on a TV show, having kids going off to college and have to go, ‘Wow, who am I now?’ ” notes the actress, who says that she “finally had to learn to stop running” from the fears and insecurities the split put a spotlight on. Despite being in what she describes as “an incredible relationship” with Ramsey, Wright says that working on herself is what has made her happy today. “It was the work I did, or who I became before I ran into him, that has made me happy.”
