After Digest put up a casting call yesterday that sounded suspiciously like Y&R's Lily, rumors swirled that Emmy-winner Christel Khalil was out. Today, on her Web site, https://www.christelkhalil.net/wp, the following was posted: "Rumors can be such an ugly thing so here is the answer floating about the internet. Christel Khalil is indeed leaving The Young and the Restless. It is not her decision to leave. An agreement could not be reached during contract negotiations. I have confirmed this information with the source. At this time I do not have an end date for Christel's last appearance on The Young and the Restless. The casting call posted by Soap Opera Digest yesterday is indeed a casting call for a new Lily Winters Ashby."//www.christelkhalil.net/wp>
