Young and Restless Spoilers Gallery For July 28: Big Shocks and Dangerous Moves

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott, c.) has reached her breaking point and lets Amanda (Mishael Morgan, r.) know she means business. Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) stands by, ready to support her dear friend Nikki, who is worried sick about Nick. Did Amanda bring them there to find him, only to find out Nick had already been rescued? Or is there another reason they are in the same room where Nick and Sharon were held against their will?

Nikki, with Lauren by her side, laces into Cane's lawyer, Amanda. She is furious that her son was put in danger for no reason since it's obvious to everyone else but Cane that Nick was not the person who killed Damian.

Amanda believes just as much in her boss, Cane, as Nikki believes in Nick. Or at least, that's what she wants everyone else there to believe. In private, she has questioned Cane about his guilt or innocence, but there's no way she'd allow Nikki to know that.

Billy (Jason Thompson, l.) and Sally (Courtney Hope) work together to transport Nick (Joshua Morrow) back to the safety of the sleeper car. Sally stitched him up as best she could after Billy told her what had happened. Will her quick thinking save Nick's life?

Sharon (Sharon Case) continues to take care of her ex-husband as best she can. They have been through so much over the years. Sally still looks concerned about his wound as she directs her questions to Billy. What will be their next move?

Nick is determined not to let this be the end of him. He's staying alert and doing what he can to heal from damage the trunk did to him when he fell into it during the fight with Cane's henchman.

Cane (Billy Flynn, r.) continues to deal with his right-hand man, Carter (Vincent Stalba), as Cane's henchman (Michael Fortin) makes his way into the conversation. What will he have to say about the night Damian was murdered?

Feeling backed into a corner, Carter pulls out a gun and takes Lily (Christel Khalil) hostage, while Cane and Chance (Conner Floyd) try to reason with him. Lily's safety is everyone's first priority. Will they be able to get her away from Carter?

Billy happens upon the messy scene. There was a time he was very much in love with Lily, so it's a safe bet that he will try his best to save her from this lethal situation. Cane has Carter's attention — can Billy slip in there to save the day?

Diane (Susan Walters) and Jack (Peter Bergman) happen upon the scene, likely after the situation has been neutralized. The aftermath appears to affect them both. What exactly has happened to cause this reaction — and what will they do next?
