In 1989, Josh (Robert Newman) and Reva’s (Kim Zimmer) Cross Creek wedding began on Guiding Light. This was the first marriage for the show's signature supercouple. The ceremony took place at Cross Creek, Oklahoma, with scenes shot on location in Midland, Pennsylvania. Reva arrived in a rowboat steered by her secret son, Dylan, and was helped to shore by her beaming groom, who asked, “Will you marry me?” “Gee, I think I’d like that,” she cooed in response.
