In 2007, Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald (Galen Gering) was sent to the execution chamber on Passions after being sentenced for crimes that were actually committed by Vincent (including murdering Rae and Dylan and raping Fancy). Post-execution, Endora Lennox used her magic powers to turn back time, allowing Eve to exonerate Luis by revealing that Vincent was the true culprit.

In 2010, Téa (Florencia Lozano) remarried Todd (Trevor St. John) — who later turned out to be the real Todd's twin, Victor — on One Life To Live. The bride's daughter, Danielle, served as her maid of honor. After a brief ceremony presided over by a judge, the couple hosted a low-key reception at which Todd, Téa, Cole, Starr, Dani, and Jack snacked on wedding cupcakes in lieu of a traditional cake.

In 2012, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) remarried on Young and Restless. The duo's first marriage had lasted from 1990-94. This second stab wasn't quite as durable, with the union ending in October. Jack, who was wheelchair-bound leading up to the ceremony, secretly regained his ability to walk and planned to surprise his bride by standing up during the nuptials. Nikki was stunned when Nick escorted her down the aisle and Jack rose to his feet to receive her. Before matron of honor Victoria, best man Billy and other friends and family, Nikki and Jack then happily exchanged vows.
