Y&R Originals Return For Anniversary
Original Y&R cast members Jaime Lyn Bauer (Lorie) and Janice Lynde (Leslie) will reprise their roles as the Brooks sisters in conjunction with the show’s 45th anniversary during the week of March 26, reports ew.com. Bauer’s popular pairing with John McCook’s (Eric, B&B) Lance marked Y&R’s first supercouple, and she last appeared in 2002. Lynde was last seen on the soap in 1977. The site also reports that Meg Bennett, who played Julia Newman from 1980-84 and popped in in 1986 and 2002, will also be back. Bennett began her soap career on SEARCH FOR TOMORROW in 1977, and post-Y&R became an Emmy-winning writer for Y&R, B&B, GH, SANTA BARBARA and SUNSET BEACH. She is married to former GH Head Writer Robert Guza, Jr.
