J.T. beat up on himself for lying to Mac (then why didn’t he just tell her the truth?!). At Crimson Lights, Bobby, who spotted one of Vinny’s goons, told Mac to let J.T. go and then he called Brittany a tramp. When Bobby left, Kevin played hero and told Mac she should fight for J.T. “It’s so rare when two people connect,” Kev pontificated. Later, Brittany threw on a giant hat and sunglasses and met Bobby in the park (holdover set from the day before, when Devon met Mom). Mac went back to the loft and informed J.T. she made a decision about their relationship: She’s moving back in.
Devon confided in Malcolm that he went to see his cracked-out mother. Devon didn’t want to tell Dru, but know-it-all Malcolm played devil’s advocate and convinced him to tell Dru the truth. Victoria went to see Dru and reprimanded her for not being at the office more. “Talk about kicking someone when they’re down,” huffed Dru, before realizing work might take her mind off everything.
After getting a call from Nick, Sharon, who had just finished working out, ordered a Bloody Mary at the GCAC. Enter Brad, who ordered a couple of coffees for them and invited her to the Abbott bbq. When Brad stood up for Nick, Sharon grabbed his hand and held it tight.
In La La Land, Nick finally called the police, while Daniel and Lily got a job at the cafè — as giant fruit. Phyllis didn’t recognize her son when she went up to Daniel on the beach. What a banana brain.
