Tune In Alert: Catch GH Alum Brandon Barash on TIMELESS
On tonight’s episode of the NBC time-travel hit TIMELESS, Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny, GH) will put in an appearance playing a role close to his heart: a young Ernest Hemingway. “It’s a strong word, but certainly in my adult years, I’ve idolized Hemingway quite a bit,” says the actor. “Old Man and the Sea is one of my top three favorite stories that I’ve ever read. To be able to meet him, if you will, was a big opportunity.” Barash had a good feeling about the gig during the audition process (and not only because he’d coincidentally just grown a mustache). “It was actually very similar to when I auditioned for Johnny,” he reports. “I got the script, I read it, and I thought, ‘I know this guy. I know him very well.’ ” On set,” he reports. “I worked a lot with Abigail Spencer [ex-Becca, ALL MY CHILDREN], who plays Lucy. And I got to share a couple of scenes with Annie Wersching, who was on GH [as Amelia] for a bit right before I started.” TIMELESS airs on NBC at 10 p.m. ET.
