Have you ever had a recurring dream? “Yeah. I was naked in the men’s department store in a mall. I had all these clothes surrounding me and I was still naked. From what I’ve learned, it’s because you’re not saying what you’re really feeling.”
Who’s your favorite comedian? “Eddie Murphy. When I was a kid, my older brother introduced me to EDDIE MURPHY: DELIRIOUS. It resonated with me so much at the time. I had never seen anything like that in my life.”
Which do you prefer: hot or cold weather? “Hot, for sure. Growing up in Miami, it’s kind of in my bones.”
What do you want to be reincarnated as? “A woman. I’m surrounded by them and I don’t understand them. So maybe coming back as one will give me some understanding.”
What is your morning ritual? “I get up before my kids so I can have at least 45 minutes to an hour just to myself. I have coffee, pray and journal.”
