Tonja Walker went on Facebook Live to express her gratitude to GH fans for helping to bring about her return to the show (she played Olivia Jerome from 1988-90), which is slated for later this month. “I’m so excited, I can’t stand it!” she bubbled. “I just pulled into the parking lot at GENERAL HOSPITAL [and] I’m really happy. I just wanted to share it with you because it’s a big deal for me; I haven’t been here in 26 years! It’s, like, amazing, really amazing.” The actress continued, “I want to thank all you fans for the years and years of writing and calling and writing and calling and trying to get me here. It’s just, like, totally amazing. So, thank you so much, and whatever God wants to happen will happen, you know? If I’m supposed to stay, great; if I’m not supposed to stay, great. It’s just a great opportunity and it’s because of you, it really is. And, of course, the writers and [Executive Producer] Frank Valentini and mainly God [but] your help has just been unbelievable.” To watch the video, click here.
