The Young and the Restless Alum Sean Carrigan Is Married! Exclusive Details
Former The Young and the Restless star Sean Carrigan (ex-Ben “Stitch” Rayburn) is a married man! The actor and his longtime love, Jazmin Tempske, said “I do” in New Orleans on Sunday, October 11 — and none other than Christian J. LeBlanc (Michael, Y&R) officiated. Soap Opera Digest has the inside scoop on the big day.
Y&R Alum Sean Carrigan Marries Jazmin Tempske
When Carrigan and Tempske were planning their ceremony in The Big Easy, it was obvious to them that LeBlanc was the perfect person to lead the ceremony. “Christian is one of our closest friends, and we’ve spent so much time with him in New Orleans, since he’s from here,” Carrigan tells Digest exclusively. “He exudes New Orleans culture, so how could we not have him officiate?”

The couple chose the Hotel Saint Vincent, a luxury boutique hotel in New Orleans’ artsy Lower Garden District, as the setting for their wedding. The venue supplied the food and wedding cake, with the party planning and coordination courtesy of Kelly Rayner of Rayner Shine Events.
The bride’s wedding gown was by Myrna of Sew What Ventura, with hair and makeup by Flawless Bride & Beauty. Flowers were provided by Kim Starr Wise, including the bouquets and boutonnieres.

The wedding party included the couple’s 13-month-old daughter, Susan Maxine, as flower girl while Tempske’s son Cayden Charlesworth walked the bride down the aisle, and her son Shepard Charlesworth served as ring bearer.
During the ceremony, music was provided by New Orleans Classical & Jazz. A string trio performed instrumental versions of “Nothing Else Matters” for the processional, and “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by Guns N’ Roses for the recessional.

Kinfolk Brass Band provided live background music for the cocktail hour while DJ Brice Nice kept the dance floor hopping during the reception. There was even dance instruction from Marco of MC Sabor Ventura.
Guests at the reception were treated to custom handkerchiefs from Niki Fitt, tarot card readings by Sarah Friday, and performances by Monsters of the Underworld. There were also blackjack tables and cigarette girls from Frenchmen Street Productions, and anyone still hungry at the end of the night could visit the late-night hot dog cart from Lucky Dogs.
Carrigan starred as Y&R’s Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn, who had a failed marriage to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), from 2013-17. He returned in the summer of 2021 for a three-month stint where his alter ego abducted Mariah (Camryn Grimes) while she was pregnant with Dominic. The actor has also appeared in primetime series like All American and American Vandal, as well as films including Ford v Ferrari and Grace Point.
Soap Opera Digest wishes Carrigan and Tempske a lifetime of happiness together!
