CBS has released the first promo for Beyond The Gates, the new soap that will make its debut in February 24, 2025. The show, a joint venture between CBS Studios and NAACP, in partnership with P&G studios will air weekdays.

First Look

“The teaser introduces the Duprees – a prominent Black family who hold court over their affluent community in Maryland from Fairmont Crest, the country club at the center of their luxurious enclave filled with wealthy residents harboring deep secrets,” the show released in a statement.

The promo opens with a view of a lush neighborhood as a black Mercedes approaches a gated community. A woman’s hand reaches up to click a button that opens the gate. Inside, a table is being beautifully set, as a “Reserved for the Duprees” sign is carefully placed on the table.

“Here we are,” a woman says. “A new dawn,” a man says. We then see the car pull up to a magnificent mansion. Someone says, “Welcome to Fairmont Crest.” Anita Dupree is helped getting her coat off and she looks gorgeous, setting off a frenzy of activity as people try to help her.

“This is going to make history,” another voice is heard saying. “How awesome is that,” is heard as different characters flash across the screen. “Your family rules this community,” someone tells Anita before Dani Dupree takes a golf club to a desk to knock everything off of it, slamming it down on the desk after — shocking the man in front of her. She means business!

During the exciting clips, you also saw the words, “CBS Daytime is about to get soapier.” You can see it all for yourself in the trailer below. After you watch it, let us know what you think in the comments section below.
