Soap Event To Benefit Cancer Research
Digest Columnist Carolyn Hinsey and OLTL producer Sonia Blangiardo are throwing a benefit this Thursday, April 12 at Blondies (212 West 79 St, NYC) to benefit cancer research. Celebrity bartenders scheduled to appear are OLTL's Hillary B. Smith (ex-Nora; Stacy, B&B), Ilene Kristen (ex-Roxy), Sean Ringgold (ex-Shaun) and ATWT's Martha Byrne (ex-Lily). Auction items include Foxy Roxy T-shirts, "Herb Callison's" jacket, Framed photos of famous OLTL scenes form the studio walls (including one of Agnes Nixon and one of AMC's Erica and David), Marcie's Killing Club Books, CD's, mouse pads, giant one-of-a-kind posters (including VICKERMAN!), and autographed copies of Carolyn's book Afternoon Delight: Why Soaps Still Matter.
