Prospect Park Honcho Talks Rebirth Of Soaps Online

Comments

The New York Times profiled Prospect Park founder Jeff Kwatinetz in an October 5 article, chronicling his rise in Hollywood and details his plans for Prospect Park's new network TOLN and the Web reboots of OLTL and AMC. In the article, Kwatinetz says soaps are "the perfect anchors for his online ambitions because of their loyal fans" but he doesn't yet have all investors lined up to make the network a go, despite its slated January 2012 debut. The article also addresses union deals and reveals that the network hopes to stream new episodes of the soaps online, have them available for on-demand viewing and later on a traditional cable channel.
