At the Crane mansion, Alistair finally scribbled the name of his assailant onto a pad of paper and he passed out again. Sam looked at the paper and announced that Alistair had only managed to draw a straight line, as presumably part of the first letter of the would-be killer’s name. As Theresa and Gwen bickered over whether Gwen should ‘fess up, Alistair took a turn for the worse. Eve and the paramedics helped to stabilize him. Everyone rehashed their motives for wanting him dead. The police refused to let anyone leave until they’ve been properly questioned. Sam offered to step in and help the police and do some of the questioning so people could get out of the mansion ASAP. As Sam took Liz and Martin away to question them, Alistair flatlined. Theresa went psycho and jumped on top of Alistair, straddling his body and punching and thumping him demanding that he doesn’t die. Theresa’s “first aid” efforts worked, and she managed to resuscitate Alistair. When Alistair came to, Theresa informed him that she just saved his life and demanded that he now tell Ethan the truth that Gwen and Rebecca were the ones responsible for Ethan’s paternity being outed by the tabloids.
Sheridan and Chris luxuriated in their bubble bath. Afterward they had to explain to James why they were in their bathrobes in the middle of the day. Sheridan resumed her online research on Otto. Chris reiterated his concern that Sheridan doesn’t set herself up for heartbreak by becoming too hopeful in her search. Rachel stopped by to help Sheridan. The two of them tried to hack into Crane Industries’ computer network. They brainstormed possible passwords that Alistair might use.
Fox expressed his dismay and disbelief at Kay’s admissions. Fox said he can still loves Kay but doesn’t know if he can trust her any more. He accused her of being just like his own family. Kay said if she could do something now to change things she would, but she can’t. Fox said he needed some time and space to think about everything and stepped outside to get some fresh air. In desperation, Kay turned to Tabitha and asked her to turn back time to the moment just before Kay admitted what she had done to Fox. Tabitha lamented that her powers were still not up to par. With Tabitha’s reluctant approval Kay then turned to Endora for help. Endora zapped Fox and reset his memory by a few hours. Fox was disoriented but had no recollections of Kay’s mea culpa. Tabitha admonished Kay to keep her big yap shut in the future.
